I’m glad I’m not the only one awake ?

Oh yuk - can't watch pimple popper! So sad when old folk surround themselves with clutter and live in chaos, though. They must be at a loss as to where to start clearing it.

I'd enjoy watching, so I'll check the 'Really' channel. I did know a self-confessed hoarder (never allowed in her house) who would go out, anywhere, all day and every day, to get away from it.

shock

MissAdventure Wed 05-Jan-22 22:36:44

From what I've seen, it's rare that anyone let's things slide back to what they were.

Dr pimple isn't much good tonight, anyway.
Though we have some eruptive velux hair cysts coming up....

I watched a bit of it. I was shocked that she was only 75, she looked at least a decade older. I often wonder if these people go back to their old ways, I hope not because a lot of hard work goes into making their homes clean and tidy. I could never bring myself to watch Doctor Pimple Popper, it sounds stomach churning.

Me too.
I'm following on with doctor pimple popper now. smile
Happy days.

Just caught the end of it. I sit in my messy house and love programmes like that!

MissAdventure Wed 05-Jan-22 21:59:02

Awww, they have put some photos in a frame that says "family", and it's made her cry. sad

MissAdventure Wed 05-Jan-22 21:53:00

I've got it on the "really" channel, if that helps? So no plus 1.

MayBee70 Wed 05-Jan-22 21:49:45

I’ve missed most of it. Is it repeated? Or on +1?

Shandy57 Wed 05-Jan-22 21:46:51

I had a shock last time I saw this programme, the hoarder was an actress I'd worked with in a bar over thirty plus years ago. So very sad.

Chewbacca Wed 05-Jan-22 21:43:54

I think an awful lot of people have fallen off the radar for general healthcare MissAdventure angry

MissAdventure Wed 05-Jan-22 21:41:23

I don't know all the backstory, but all her clutter is family related.
sad
Isn't life sad for some people?
Perhaps she has refused healthcare help, but it seems she has just been forgotten

Chewbacca Wed 05-Jan-22 21:28:11

Oh God, the poor woman. Ulcerated legs are terrible to get rid of once you have them and need constant attention and dressing changes or they get infected and begin to smell really badly.

MissAdventure Wed 05-Jan-22 21:19:55

Warbling.
NOT marbling!

MissAdventure Wed 05-Jan-22 21:19:18

Its marbling away in the background here, but a bit caught my attention.

The woman whose house is being cleaned and decluttered has ulcerated legs, which she has just been sticking bits and bobs of what looks like paper over them.

The poor soul.
She can't remember when she last saw a nurse to dress them properly.

The declutterer is going to try and sort that out for her, too. smile
