Beautiful setting too. I can hardly believe it but we're actually going to both Kerala and Sri Lanka later this year.

I enjoy the feel good films, even if they are a bit unrealistic. Need some escapism from real life drudgery and stress. On the same lines I love the ‘Marigold Hotel for the Elderly and Beautiful’!

Well yes the views are lovely but what a ridiculous story. Are those three people really going to spend 2/3 weeks in the operating theatre on the floor and what happens to routine surgery? Its nearly as bad as Call the Midwife!!! I await my punishment.

I suppose food will be delivered and left outside the door. Hopefully the operating theatre has a loo and shower? But yes, looks like no other surgery will be carried out in the near future. And how will they manage without Doctor Ruby and Nurse Whoever, if they are already short staffed?

Expect this new random doctor/surgeon (very convenient) will be the new love interest.

I don’t like these sorts of gentle programmes as a rule but I really enjoyed this. I relationship to real life but wonderful escapism.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but it’s relaxing for a Sunday evening. It’s a gentle drama that’s easy to follow and the scenery is wonderful. I’ve always wanted to go to Sri Lanka.

Yes, I’ve watched all four series. Find Amanda Redman’s character rather bossy and overbearing, but of course, a dedicated doctor.

Neil Morrissey is always easy on the eye! Suits his beach bar owner persona down to the ground.

Not forgetting the good looking doctor!

I think it's so enjoyable because we don't have the usual dark storylines, violence and aggressive swearing which is endemic in most things now. We need more of these feel good productions, they are uplifting instead of leaving you in a tangle of shredded nerves.

This is the 4th series and I've watched from the start. You might be able to get them all on catch up, I don't know. I love the beach bar, where everyone relaxes to the sound of the waves and the glorious sunsets. That beach bar is such a chilled out place!

Amidst all the medical chaos and adversity it has a calmness and feel good about it. Perhaps it is the lovely beach scenes or the diversity of plot. I really enjoy it.

I just love the scenery, I can lose myself in the sights and sounds and imagine the smells, the humidity and the atmosphere.
