Sorry I didn’t watch this programme I’ve been watching the Winter Olympics I’ve found them to be very interesting.
In regards to warships and the navy my dear late brother in law was a submariner who joined the navy as a young man then he moved into submarines to earn a few bob more. He met my late sister while stationed in Rosyth where she was a wren.

They had a very long and happy marriage fortunately they both never experienced war, not sure but I think they might’ve been too young. I might peek into this programme you are all discussing.

It makes me feel very proud of our Navy and all the armed forces. It was such an insight into what they have to cope with.

I thoroughly enjoyed this. Good to see young girls working on a warship. I really felt for the young lad working in the kitchens who was doubting his decision to join the Royal Navy but by the end he considered himself 'a salty, old sea-dog'. I wonder what the Russians were throwing into the sea?

Very good series. I have great admiration for all the armed forces.

Prime time for the Russians if they want to gain an insight I'd have thought?
From a British perspective, I am enjoying the programme. Tonight's episode is recorded to watch tomorrow.

DS is in the Royal Navy and says that the TV is showing it at it's best. There are hours of boredom in cramped areas. The excitement is little and far between. Food is very important.
I noticed that everyone is very young. They can join up at 16. It's great that women are treated equally now.

I wouldn't miss it and admire the men and women who put their lives at risk to protect the rest of us.

I’ve watched most of them I did wonder if the Russian incursions were a bit over dramatised although I know they need to train. Overall I enjoy it.

No, they're not.
It's nothing new either.
