Joan Baez 75th Birthday Concert

I know I'm late to the party and she's now 81

BUT I just caught up with this fantastic concert on Sky ,if you're a fan of Ms Baez or some of her contemporaries and younger talented musicians and singers you should check this out
.My favourites were Mavis Staples , Jackson Browne ,Damian Rice ,Paul Simon and Judy Collins .I'm quite happy I missed it 5 years ago it was a delight to catch up today

Believe it or not DH and I saw her perform at The Sage, Gateshead only a few years ago on her Farewell Europe Tour. Her range wasn’t as wide, but no-one cared - seeing such an icon in a fabulous venue.

Thanks paddyann I love Joan Baez so will definitely listen to the concert. When I saw your post I thought I’m sure Joan Baez is older than 75 years!

Oh, goodness, is she 81 now?
I suddenly feel very old.

We don't have Sky but I did love her voice and her music.

I saw her at the Isle of Wight festival too in 1979. Gosh, that was a long time ago!
