Traces…On Alibi, series 2, all available to download, watch Series 1 first though.

Still Game…On Netflix, we thought we had seen all episodes, but apparently not, there are loads of series and it is so good for a laugh.

Resident Alien…Sky, new series coming before end of this month.

Young Wallander…Netflix, new series.

You’re welcome, enjoy.

I stumbled across Annie Hall on BBC IPlayer last night and had a glorious trip down memory lane circa 1977. I always thought the '70s was a dreadful decade for fashion, but Diane Keaton looked fantastically stylish, certainly far more so than the attire the actress in "Chole" was dressed up in for that part. Of course Annie Hall has all the hallmarks of a Woody Allen film, him playing the standard angst ridden Jewish New Yorker interminably in therapy and if he'd known what was coming down the line in real life he could have cranked the feelings of impending doom up all the more.

I loved “Crash Landing on You” it a Korean cheesy love story about a rich S Korean business woman who paraglides into North Korea and lands on handsome N Korean army captain. Lots of insight into life in both Koreas and some lovely scenes in Switzerland as well.

Outlander on either Netflix or Prime I can’t remember which. It’s been on both bits it’s only on one of them now but I can’t remember which. It’s an amazing story of a woman who is an army nurse in ww2 who while on honeymoon in Scotland disappears through mysterious standing stones and finds herself in Scotland in the 1700’s and meets the hunk Jamie Fraser who becomes her 2nd husband…or is it her first???
It’s an amazing love story with time travel, action, drama, and history thrown in. Something for everyone.

I don’t think anyone’s mentioned it here, so I may be in the minority, but I am avidly watching “This is going to hurt” the BBC drama (based on true events). It’s quite harrowing to watch at times, interspersed with a lot of black humour. Ben Whishaw is brilliant as the junior doctor - Adam Kay (the author of the book on which the series us based) particularly wanted Ben to play the leading role apparently. Uncomfortable watching, but I suspect there’s a lot of truth in it. It’s definitely not for everyone, but I’m fascinated (and at times horrified) by it. It also gave me greater respect for the NHS and the over-worked staff.

I absolutely loooove Schitts Creek.
Did you know that David and Twyler are Johnys children in real life.

Can’t wait for the second series of ‘resident alien’ starting this week on sky. Been watching ‘the curse’ on channel four for a couple of weeks but it’s so funny we ended up down loading the full series and watching them last night. I’m also enjoying ‘the gilded age’ a period drama on sky by the fellow that wrote Downton ??

What’s happen to white chicken eggs? Wife and I watched some 1970s ITV comedies and they all had white eggs in the kitchen. Remember mother buying them all the time but they’ve seem to disappear all together. I use to like them better then brown

Greciangirl, yes, watched The Puppet Master and Tinder Swindler and I was gripped. Also loved Hidden Assets and I am halfway through The Stranger all on Netflix. So much good stuff out lately, thank goodness as “regular” Tv is rubbish at the moment.

‘Munich, The Edge Of War’ on Amazon Prime is a very good film about the failed appeasement process prior to WW2. Jeremy Irons is brilliant as Neville Chamberlain and the story involving the two friends from opposite sides of the conflict is also quite gripping.

Loving all the recommendations, I’m a real tv addict.
I’ve just started the promise , it’s very good. BBC i player.
Loved both series of Cobra on Netflix . Just watched succession on sky, not really impressed.
I retired at the end of last year, so always looking for good series to watch.

All you Motherland lovers (me included) please tell me where i can watch season 3, its not on Netflix, im seriously missing it ?

Oh yes, Bodies ... not for the fainthearted, but riveting stuff. I like Patrick Baladi who does nice/nasty equally well. We are currently watching all three series of Mistresses (in which he also stars); it's brilliantly tacky or tackily brilliant, and the four actresses playing the women are fabulous.

On ITV Hub I've re-found the totally wonderful Cracker. Superlatively good, and it's fun to see some of our well-known actors when they were many years younger!
