Urmstongran, you can always make a Crufts in miniature.

For those of you who are interested in festivals this is the Kensington website. It seems to have changed its name since Covid. It really is excellent. York and Birmingham do pretty good ones too.

Did you see Alan Titchmarsh on 'Would I Lie to You'? He brought in some exquisite dolls' furniture, saying it was from his own doll's house, and it was true! He has an absolutely wonderful period dolls' house with the most beautiful furniture ever. I've never seen one so lovely.

I've adored dolls houses since I saw Titania's Palace as a child. I'd not heard of the Kensington Festival but am off to Google it.

I hadn't heard of the Mouse Houses but just googled them. Love them!

I'm so glad you've brought this to my attention. I love all things dolls house and can waste spend hours on Instagram boggling at tiny pianos and miniature rooms all trimmed up for Christmas.

Also hooked on the AnonyMouse mini street houses in Sweden.

Thanks Casdon, that's probably it. 'Best in Miniature' was the American one I think according to my google effort. Please flag it up if you find out when, as will I. I'd hate to miss it. Pre-Covid I used to go to the Kensington Dolls' House Festival each year. Hopefully it will be back on soon.

There’s one coming up on Channel 4 called The Great Big Tiny Design Challenge, I saw it advertised the other day. Sandi Toksvig will be the presenter. I’m not sure if that’s the one you mean, but they haven’t announced a start date yet - I love miniatures, so I’m looking out for it too.
