No, me neither.
I should imagine that Smith has lost a few fans. He used to be something of a hero himself

Just wondering how his daughters felt about this film and whether they had any input.

From everything I read about him 15-20 years ago; and there was quite a bit written; RW was something of a monster.

Well that’s a disappointment I thought King Richard was about Richard the Lionheart, I was looking forward to watching it.

Now I see it’s about Tennis ☹️

Yes I think he is fannycornforth, he does come across over bearing and towards the end it showed difficulty in there marriage but it didnt show him as unpleasant as such. I didnt know much about the father before hand thh....

Fanny all I have ever read in the past was that he was a very over demanding father who was very harsh in his forging their careers
So has history been changed ?

I was under the impression that Richard Williams was a thoroughly unpleasant man.
Is he portrayed as a hero in the film?

….with Will Smith, rented it off prime very much enjoyed it, about the tennis champs Williams sisters and their father how he persevered to get them to where they are today…worth a watch IMO…
