I started watching this yesterday and loved it. It's a strange Japanese programme which has apparently been around for years. I thought it sounded rather dubious before I started to watch it but it really isn't.
Very young children (2 - 6 years) are sent on errands alone, for the first time by their parents. There are lots of camera people along the route and neighbours have been warned to keep an eye on them but not to interfere. The children are wearing microphones in bags and provide their own running commentary, which is often hilarious. There are subtitles thankfully. I thought there might be an overload of cuteness, but I think it's just enough! My OH - not a lover of twee things - actually enjoyed it too. There are some real laugh out loud moments as well as the aw factor. It's just such a good antidote to the drama in the real world! Give it a go.
