Oh, Couples Therapy - compelling fly-on-the-wall series as couples explore the complexities of the relationships. Some you wish all the very best & hope that they make it through with an even stronger bond & others…well, I found myself grinding my gears, growling that she should dump the bastard this very moment. I’ll leave you to work that one out for yourself. As an aside we also meet the therapist’s supervisor as they meet to discuss the cases, a gentle insight into a therapist’s working life.

Harry Bosch is great, both to read & watch.
Great written character & Titus Whatshisface offers a compelling interpretation.

Goliath on Prime with BillyBob Thornton is worth a try.

I’m on my 3rd time of watching the series.
The best film ( lately) Mao’s last Dancer. Amazing true story.

I didn’t know there was a film of Mao’s Last Dancer. I read the bool a few years ago after a recommendation from my sister-in-law and after I finished it I passed it on to my friend; we both thought it was wonderful. I will try and find the film this evening.

Modern Love on Prime is good - little short stories based on real life relationships. Couples Therapy is real life couples on iplayer . Ozark, Better Call Saul on Netflix

On BBC i-player we've re-watched "Us" starring Tom Hollander and Saskia Reeves, which is a total delight. Lots of good things to be found here, some of which we are re-watching and some we are watching for the first time. 3 series of The Bridge - fantastic!

On ITVHub we are currently watching "Flesh & Blood" which was on about 4 years ago, with Francesca Annis and Imelda Staunton - an excellent mystery, very well acted and with gorgeous seaside location.

ITVHub also has Cracker, one of my favourite things of all time; Robbie Coltrane was just amazing .

I loved Anne with an E, Breaking Bad, Schitt's Creek, Maid, Downtown Abbey, The Split.

Mad Men was amazing, about advertising in NY in the 60's.

Just bought Belfast on Amazon Prime for £4.99, didn't rate it, I was hoping to see more about the Orange Men.

Orangemen wouldn't be very interesting. They are a group like the masons who like to march.I don't know anyone in it but it used to be a nice, harmless family day out before all the troubles.

Lucifer on Prime played by Tom Ellis . It’s ridiculous trash but I love it. He’s supposed to be helping a female police detective but he’s really Satan having a change of heart. Two others play dark angels but they all look like normal people. It’s hilarious

I’ve started watching both, but have decided to save them for when I can pay more attention to them and savour them properly.

DH is enjoying A Place to Call Home, which has many plaudits on here.
The clothes, cars etc are fabulous.
I don’t think that it’s cheesy, but you seem to have a much lower tolerance to lactose than I do!

I’m also really enjoying old series of The Pottery Throwdown for some reason

The Courier on Prime is a film based on the true story of an Englishman acting as a courier for MI6 during the Cold War.
It is a fascinating account of the relationship between the courier and the Soviet official who passed on information to the West. Magnificent acting from the lead characters.

On Prime I'm really enjoying Outer range.
It's a strange modern day cowboy science fiction series with new episodes every Friday.

The Magnificent Seven is on Netflix now, the remake starring Denzel Washington. I’ve watched it three times ! I love westerns. It’s rated a 12 which is all I’ll watch as I find modern films too bloodthirsty and violent nowadays. There’s a lot of shooting in it but it’s not all slow motion nasty stuff. I used to love Wagon Train, Rawhide, Branded, I’ve always been a sucker for anyone wearing a cowboy hat !

We loved Dirty John on Netflix, the title put us off but we were hooked immediately.
Two true stories, gripping.

Yes the true crime type series are very good, I watched that one and The Unabomber on Netflix was very good too, very gripping.

Lucca I also loved Grace and Frankie and have just discovered today that the final 12 episodes of season 7 were added to Netflix on April 29th. It was left unfinished after episode 4. I’m going to refresh my memory (I hope) by watching series 7 episode 4 again then look forward to the final 12 episodes.

My son has introduced me to things I wouldnt have known about. Loved Atypical and also Sweet Tooth.

Have you watched 'The Detectorists'? It's very gentle humour. Mrs Maisel on prime is worth a look
