Commonwealth Games opening ceremony: what do we think?

Meant to add there is alway something “cosier”, more intimate and informal about the Commonwealth Games which I like.
Wonderful for Birmingham which is too often underestimated , but outstanding for music (CBSO), ballet (BRB) theatre (the Rep) sport (Edgbaston) culture in general (Symphony Hall and the Library) is a pretty amazing place.

More money would go into the Olympics. Well I'm a Brummie still living here and think it's great. Yes I'm biased . I was thrilled to see The Red Arrows fly over my house earlier. I never thought I'd see them.
