For anyone who enjoyed Fisherman’s Friends, the sequel comes out in August - Fisherman’s Friends: One and All. James Purefoy looking good as usual.

Thanks. I enjoyed the first one, the storyline went well beyond the singing of shanties and was quite moving in places.
I watched some of the filming last year. In Port Isaac there were dozens of actors running around dressed as fish fingers, so I will be interested to see what that is all about!

Thanks. I enjoyed the first one.

I enjoyed the first one too. I watched it again recently with family and we had a sing song ?

We saw them singing on the beach in Port Isaac before they were famous and followed their story afterwards. The film was pleasant but bore little resemblance to the real story. Pleasant enough though.

Went to see it the other day. I didn’t enjoy it quite as much as the first one, and I really hope they don’t make a third one. The singing was as good as ever, and the Cornish background truly spectacular. I’ll admit I didn’t know who Imelda May was before seeing it and to me, she was the least watchable person in it.
Has anyone else seen it?

Yes I loved it. It was two hours of loveliness thoroughly enjoyed it. No I didn’t know who Imelda May was either. Can recommend it.

Didn't see the first one but am going tomorrow to see the sequel - something to do on a Sunday afternoon rather than staying in on my own.

I didn’t see the first one but thoroughly enjoyed the second one which I saw a couple weeks ago..

We saw it a couple of weeks ago too, and enjoyed it. It's worth seeing the first one first if it's on TV anywhere, but the second one does stand alone if you can't find it.

I enjoyed the sequel, beautiful scenery as in the first film and some funny and poignant moments. I thought Imelda May was lovely in the part she played, although I'd never heard of her. I was relieved that there were far fewer (if any?) negative references to tourists than in the first film.
