Last week's postponed Strictly is on tonight at 7pm. Apparently Rose & Giovanni will be reprising their winning routine.

Thanks both, it’s interesting to get different perspectives, we all judge on different criteria don’t we. I don’t think Tony will be going yet though, and I don’t think it’s because Arsenal supporters are all voting for him. I do agree about Ellie S, she could be in the dance off next week, she’s a lovely person so I’ll be sad to see her go regardless of her dancing skills.

Don’t think it’s ever happened (correct me if I’m wrong) that really poor dancers keep getting through.

Often they seem to keep getting voted in until ‘Blackpool’, but after that they get weeded out.

Think Tony and Ellie S will soon go, then Kym and the other Ellie.

The final will probably be Hanza/Hamza, Molly, Tyler, maybe Helen?

Who knows?

Change your diary dates ........ It might not be correct, I haven't had time to check, but I've just read, "The quarter final of Strictly Come Dancing will now air live on Friday 2nd December and the semi-final will now air live on Sunday 11th December on BBC One and BBC iPlayer."
I think it's to do with World Cup matches in Qatar.

I have never known such poor dancers staying so long before. I can’t see how Ellie S is still on.
Can’t help but feel that this show has had its day, the judges have become too invested in themselves now, remember Len and his 10, but I love watching the professional dancers.l

Ellie S has a great personality and I imagine she works really hard to be the best, as a dedicated and successful sports woman.

Is it Molly who's been dancing since she was very young?
That must be a great advantage.

Oh no, we've got the rugby now and then there'll be football ........

Oh flipping heck, we are meant to be out on 2nd December 😡

I think a lot of people go out on Friday night, end of the working week. Most younger people do. How will that affect the voting?

IrishDancing Tue 01-Nov-22 22:41:56

I think Strictly has had its day. I record then just watch the dances I’m interested in, I’m not really interested in who wins. It doesn’t seem to be about the dancing anymore …

Did anyone read the story of Fleur's fall in the dance off? She and Vito fell badly, went off to be medically examined and then returned to start the dance off again.

I thought it was all live but apparently not. None of this was mentioned.

TillyTrotter Sat 05-Nov-22 19:03:17

No, poor Fleur.
Well here we go - the half way point of the competition.
Good Look to all and hope it’s a great night of dancing for us to view. 💃 🕺

Oh that cha cha was brilliant. Hamza is a natural dancer. Lovely. Oh 10-10 and 10!!

Sparklefizz Sat 05-Nov-22 19:14:26

3 x 10 for Hamza and the competition is only halfway through. They have nowhere else to go now. Mad scoring!

Sweetpeasue Sat 05-Nov-22 19:14:54

Sorry, yes. Claudia never disappoints with weird outfits.

rafichagran Sat 05-Nov-22 19:21:16

Brilliant Cha Cha Cha. I love Hamza's dancing. My partner does not like Strickly but looked up and asked if Claudia had her Christmas pyjamas on.

Grandmabatty Sat 05-Nov-22 19:23:25

Hamza's cha cha was good be ut not great. Overmarked I think. I am liked Ellie's rumba we hich is a fiendishly difficult dance to do

Sparklefizz Sat 05-Nov-22 19:23:53

I wasn't saying that Hamza's Cha Cha wasn't good. I just wish the judges would keep the 10s for a bit later on.

The judges aren't keen on Ellie's Rumba. I thought it was lovely but what do I know?

Craig ... 3 ?????????

Grandmabatty Sat 05-Nov-22 19:23:58

Ignore my typos. I'm horrified at her marks

rafichagran Sat 05-Nov-22 19:28:21

Horrified by Craig's 3, I thought she was elegant.

Casdon Sat 05-Nov-22 19:33:53

Sorry to be a party pooper, I thought Hamza deserved those 10s, he’s so good.

TillyTrotter Sat 05-Nov-22 19:34:04

A 3 was extremely harsh.
I thought Mollie’s Foxtrot was well deserving of her marks.

Sweetpeasue Sat 05-Nov-22 19:36:25

Wow! Go Ellie!

Mollygo Sat 05-Nov-22 19:47:57

Absolutely!
I loved that.
I like the fact that Craig’s feedback makes no allowance for disabilities, so when he gives a good mark, it’s a well deserved good mark.

Sparklefizz Sat 05-Nov-22 19:54:23

Kim and Graziano! Wow! I love the Argentine Tango, and that music was fantastic.
