I can’t see another thread so apologies if there is
After years of not bothering with “I m a celebrity get me out of here” I decided to have a look as I like Boy George
And I have to say I m in now so will need to keep watching this ridiculously daft programme even if it’s just to combat the depressing days
Anyway what do you all think ?

Vote Chris for the next trial

DanniRae Sat 12-Nov-22 15:31:27

"YES" - Vote Chris!!

Smileless2012 Sat 12-Nov-22 17:43:41

Will do.

maddyone Sat 12-Nov-22 22:16:35

Well Chris nearly got it. I hope he gets it next time. It’s getting boring seeing the same person doing all the trials.

Chestnut Sat 12-Nov-22 23:34:58

Exactly what I was going to say! It is getting boring having Matt all the time. Some of those people are never going to do a single trial because they will never get voted for. What an easy ride for them. George is getting paid much more than the others at £500k so let him earn it.

I haven't seen anyone emerging as a true strong leader yet, which might be why they are bumbling along without much purpose. Charlene seems to like to have air time and she questions other contestants like a reporter, but no way is she in Kate Garroway's league who showed a very human side to her character. I quite like Scarlette for her sensible approach and her dealing with the here and now.
The next phase will be more revealing when leaders are picked and the dynamics change.

Sara1954 Sun 13-Nov-22 20:12:14

Matt is doing well, but we would like to see others having a go.
As for leader, if I got to choose, I’d say Mike.
I think he’s a totally decent chap.

Millie22 Sun 13-Nov-22 21:40:54

The Matt Hancock show continues.

Really hoping someone else gets to do a trial.

Joseanne Sun 13-Nov-22 22:06:48

I really hope Boy George gets booted off first. He's a horrible person going round all the others with his digs.

Sweetpeasue Sun 13-Nov-22 22:08:47

I agree Joseanne

Coolgran65 Sun 13-Nov-22 22:16:47

Management really needs to step in with an emergency ruling taking Matt out of the options for a trial.

Yes agree about Boy George. I used to like him but he’s showing himself as a mixer and just not nice.

Aveline Sun 13-Nov-22 22:18:19

Ooh yes. Boy George is coming out as a pretty poisonous person. Hope he gets a trial although he'd probably hum his way through it.

rafichagran Sun 13-Nov-22 22:19:27

Yes Boy George is coming across as a bit if a stirrer. Gone right off him.

Grannynannywanny Sun 13-Nov-22 22:20:10

I loved Scarlett’s quip “are these guidelines or rules”

Sweetpeasue Sun 13-Nov-22 22:35:59

The trial by Matt in the room with flies and offal was just gross. It literally had me gagging. I can't watch eating trials but this felt just as bad. How long can he keep doing these? He's human after all.

swampy1961 Sun 13-Nov-22 22:44:39

They need to change how the voting works. Once you have done a trial then you are exempt from the next vote, then you can go back in the voting selection.
It's been boring watching the shows in the past when the public has taken a dislike to a member of the camp and keep voting for one person to keep doing trials.
At this rate - when the campmates start to get voted out - most of them will have done just that - camped!!

BlueBelle Sun 13-Nov-22 23:02:02

I still like Boy George I think he’s being very controlled and at least he’s true to himself some of the others are trying to be too kind to MH too much fawning although Sue, Charlene, and Chris are starting to get pipped off
It’s incredible boring now and I ll soon be too bored to watch I hope MH goes home first get him out the way and back into the arms of his lover

maddyone Sun 13-Nov-22 23:10:43

It’s boring seeing the same person getting voted to do the trials day after day. What’s the matter with people? Aren’t they bored too?

Dollymixtures Sun 13-Nov-22 23:36:36

I really don’t like Chris Moyles, he needs to do a trial. He’s mealymouthed and scathing about everything Matt does but thanks to him, they’re eating! Same with Boy George, I never liked him but he’s a snake in the grass, dripping poison into everyone’s ears about Matt whilst sitting in his bum just watching. Fancy saying he wouldn’t be told what to do, that’s the leader’s job. He’s counting up the pathetic few jobs he’s done against how many others have done, no camaraderie at all. Matt is remarkably happy with keep being voted for trials but they need to get everybody doing them and then see how many stars they get! It’s all getting my goat!

Chestnut Sun 13-Nov-22 23:58:16

I agree we're fed up with the MH Show. We really need to see sneering Moyles and whinging George do something really horrible. How many stars would they get, not many I'm sure. Can you imagine either of them coping with that bath full of offal? And those snakes? They are all having such an easy ride, but as George is being paid the most at £500k I'm really annoyed he's done nothing except whinge.

Sara1954 Mon 14-Nov-22 06:25:20

Yes, George is a stirrer, Chris is a whinger.
I think Matts masterstroke was recruiting Charlene, that’s one of his critics silenced.
Last nights challenge was unbearable to watch, but to be fair, he’s doing amazingly well.
Was never a Matt Hancock fan, but I’m warming to him.

Smileless2012 Mon 14-Nov-22 08:47:20

Not sure how he'll do with this trial. There'll be snakes in a very confined space and his previous encounter with them wasn't good was it.

If he can't cope, and gets very few or no stars at all then maybe Chris and George wont be whooping it up if he gets voted for the next one.

They should be thanking him for keeping them all well fed.

Chestnut Mon 14-Nov-22 10:09:52

I agree Matt might struggle with the snakes. If only Moyles or George were doing it. It would wipe the smiles of their sneering faces.

I'm not sure it was sensible to do that house of horrors with an open wound from a scorpion sting. The amount of bacteria in those dead animals could cause an infection, maybe sepsis. We shall see.....

FannyCornforth Mon 14-Nov-22 10:15:02

There’s dead animals involved now? And poor snakes
I’m glad that I’ve stopped watching

BlueBelle Mon 14-Nov-22 10:18:52

I wish to goodness Matt Hancock goes home first I m sick of his smarmy face
Can’t see what Chris moyles has done wrong personally George was always going to be a bit of a stirrer and John blunt but I don’t think either Charlene or Sue are Matt fans really which makes them hypocritical
Baba and the holly oaks guy are just in their own little bubble
