She has sung, a while back, in a couple of Eastenders episodes, but nothing like the other night.

Gosh it’s years since I watched Eastenders, or any soaps for that matter, but I would certainly love to hear that voice again.

Greyduster, Shona McGarty is a regular member of the Eastenders cast, has been for a good few years now.

I think the Festival of Remembrance continues to work because they are not afraid to move on and change things.

When I was young, it used to be constant military parading with a gymnastic display if you were lucky.

Now it’s music, singing, people, but still not forgetting what it’s all about.

I had no idea who this lady was but she has a very lovely voice. The Festival of Remembrance has been on tv for so long (anyone remember Ralph Reader in the early days?), it makes you wonder how they manage to ring the changes from year to year, but this year it was exceptionally moving.

I watched her on You Tube, Hellogirl. Her voice was fabulous.

Did anyone watch this on Saturday night? I was absolutely amazed that Shona McGarty had such a lovely singing voice, when she sang Hallelujah, it was a beautiful rendering. I knew that she sang, but that was totally unexpected.
