We have a new reality show starting on BBC1 Tues night called The Traitors which looks quite interesting. I will definitely give it a try. I notice they are starting it just as I'm a Celeb..... has ended. 😉

What a fantastic programme, loved it. Can't remember the last time I shouted at the TV, I was so involved.
Glad Wilf got dumped. Well done Keiran you played it well in the end.
And Aaron 's mum got her money.

Lyndylou Thu 22-Dec-22 22:08:36

I thought that was an excellent ending, I had been sure Wilf would win, but he overplayed his hand at the end.

BlueBelle Thu 22-Dec-22 22:02:03

Well well well
That was a very disingenuous speech from someone who would have killed their grandmother for the money

Parsley3 Thu 22-Dec-22 19:22:21

Thanks kissngate. The odds are against the faithful at the moment.

Juicywords Thu 22-Dec-22 18:03:57

I’m sure the Faithfuls think only 1 traitor remains. So if Kieron or Will are found out , the other one will probably win as they’ll most likely stop the game.

foxie48 Thu 22-Dec-22 17:21:09

There are 5 contestants ATM, if they flush out one of the traitors eg Keiren then I think Will will persuade them to end the game and he will get the money. I don't think they are aware that there are 2 traitors left.

Aveline Thu 22-Dec-22 17:20:57

Maddy thought it was Wilf but for the wrong reasons. She was sure he was in league with Aaron.
Can't wait till tonight. Twists and turns I bet!

They decide themselves who wins. It will get down to 3 likely to be Hannah, Meryl and Will or Kieran. If they all think they are Faithful they can stop the game and agree to split the money. However a Traitor will get the money if the F are wrong. Will can manipulate H&M and unless H changes her view on W, he is likely to take it all. There has to be 2 or more at the Round Table when the game ends. If only F remain they share the money.

I imagine the contestants are sitting at home glued to their TV because it may be the first time they've seen the finished programme. They may even be reading this thread!

BlueBelle Thu 22-Dec-22 16:25:42

None of you liked Maddy but she had Wilf sussed from the very beginning and no one listened to her
I hope they remember that when they find out he’s a traitor

Parsley3 Thu 22-Dec-22 16:13:57

I have no idea how they will decide who has won. It is all very mysterious.

Just caught the end of Jeremy Vine today and there was a chat about the programme (last item): www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m001g1r7

Agreed there are some people who seem to have trusted others to a huge degree. Hannah trusts Wilf. Aaron trusted Amanda and now trusts Wilf, so his instincts are way out! Both those will be gutted, but they should remember the nature of the game is to cheat and deceive. It's like the ultimate murder mystery game. Reminds me of Cluedo but way more sophisticated.

VB000 Thu 22-Dec-22 09:52:28

It's going to be an exciting final - can't wait to see how it turns out! I don't particularly like Wilf but he has done well in the challenges and played this game really well. However I would have loved to see Amanda win, as she played so well too!

He has no qualms about throwing the other traitors under the bus, so it will probably depend on who is convinced by Wilf and Kieran in tonight's show.

Aveline Thu 22-Dec-22 09:09:11

I suspect that Keiran might win. Tonight's episode will be a cracker.
It's really funny hearing all their theories about each other and reasons for why they might be traitors. Usually completely wrong but deeply held.

BlueBelle Thu 22-Dec-22 08:00:40

As long as Wilf doesn’t win I don’t care I don’t like him AT ALL Never like him and didn’t trust him after he threw Allysa under the bus I took to Amanda and wanted her to win

I actually liked Maddy although I know most of you didn’t BUT she was right about Wilf from day1 however loud Hannah talked her down she’s in for a shock when she finds how poor her judgements been
I think out of those left I d prefer Kieron to win although his not a particularly big character

Doodledog Thu 22-Dec-22 00:37:24

Agreed on all counts, Chestnut.

I've liked Wilf from the start, and I do think he's playing well - I don't blame any of the traitors for being treacherous - that's the point of the game.

You're right about Hannah - she is quite volatile and has invested a lot of emotion in trusting Wilf. Aaron is a bit of a drip, I think. I'm not sure about him. I'm pleased Maddie's gone, and I'm not bothered either way about Meryl. Keiran's ok - I think the heightened emotions go with the territory really. If we had a vote, mine would be for Wilf, but I don't dislike any of them.

Chestnut Thu 22-Dec-22 00:01:11

An interesting episode with Kieran really getting wound up. I didn't like the way he became so angry and lost control so I'm off him now. 😠

I admire Wilf and think he deserves to win for playing the game so well. 🤩

But I don't envy him when Hannah finds out he's a traitor. Hannah won't take it well. She believes in him totally so there will be blood and feathers on the floor!

Aaron is still my favourite but I don't think he'll win unfortunately. 😍

Parsley3 Wed 21-Dec-22 23:14:30

It's the final next and it looks like there will be more twists and turns. What fun.

kissngate Wed 21-Dec-22 12:59:15

Totally agree Chestnut. The ones that can be manipulated by Traitors remain in the game ie Meryl and Hannah. It's a numbers game and future contestants should form groups quickly in order not to be outside a pack.

Chestnut Wed 21-Dec-22 12:42:45

Yes Meryl is so excitable and is another who is not a threat, which is why she is still in the game. So we end up with all the bland people who are not a threat to the traitors. Those who are clever or have leadership qualities all get murdered!

VB000 Wed 21-Dec-22 12:31:09

Last night's challenge was good - the boys were impressive... but I feel less supportive of Wilf since yesterday - agree Chestnut Loved their faces when Amanda announced she was a traitor! It was TV gold!

Is Kieran going to be aware of what his options are? I think he and Andrea are doing well, as they seem above suspicion at the Round Table.

Maddie is still annoying, and now Meryl is starting to irritate with her hysterical shouting and nonsense theories - she never has anything of value to add to the decision on who to vote for!

Aveline Wed 21-Dec-22 11:13:47

I was sorry to see Amanda go. Keiran is bound to accept the offer to be a traitor. Means he can stay in the game.
I was cross at Wilf so not sure I want him to win. I really want Maddy out. She's so annoying and also completely wrong about poor Aaron!
