We have a new reality show starting on BBC1 Tues night called The Traitors which looks quite interesting. I will definitely give it a try. I notice they are starting it just as I'm a Celeb..... has ended. 😉

Amos and the other one who came in late won't ever be banished as they can only be faithfuls. They can win if they are not murdered.

I might be wrong but didn't Claudia say Amos and Keiran could be entering as a faithful or a traitor? They do seem to have been accepted as faithfuls so maybe I'm wrong.

It’s good because it’s completely different most reality programmes are soooooooo boringly the same you could write the script this is definitely interestingly different
And Alex had everyone fooled
I don’t mind Maddy she’s been right about Wilf from the beginning
I ve always had my money on Amanda

I am loving this show, I know very well its all an act and all that but I bet you get all caught up with the drama of it of you are taking part. It's brutal but also a lot better than IACGMOOH. At least no disgusting eating or drinking (yet).

It's a beautiful castle. Hard to believe that they're all individually transported to completely separate accomodation though. Wonder how that really works.

Parsley3 Wed 14-Dec-22 12:53:00

Fun fact: The programme is filmed at Ardross Castle, 25 miles north of Inverness.

I virtually watched the first six episodes in one go. I got hooked so quickly. Apart from Gogglebox and Strictly I've never got into reality programmes.

Agree with you Aveline about the crying. Most of the programme is them being torn apart emotionally but the team work is clever planning. Pulls them back together.

Brilliant planning to whoever thought of the idea and it certainly warrants a few more series. Beautiful aesthetic surroundings - so suited to the programme.

I didn’t spot this thread earlier. I generally don’t watch reality TV but I’m very much enjoying this. Ordinary people with challenges, deception and a prize at the end. I didn’t see the latest one so can’t comment.

Agreed, I was surprised the Traitors didn't try to enlist Amos or Kieran, for that reason. Now we have to wait until tomorrow to see if Alex or Amos get murdered...

I love the breakfast scenes (it all looks yummy!) and the acting skills of the traitors as people arrive!

Looks set for another series too!

Yes, it's hard to tell how we would react, as we only see an hour a night, but they are living it round the clock. The wailing seems very OTT, but we can't judge by 'normal' standards.

Maddie is annoying me too. She is so sure she's right (with good reason!) and refuses to entertain the thought that she might not be. She just wants her own way and seems so indignant that others want a say too.

The editors choose which ones to show being discussed. We're not seeing it all.

Chestnut Wed 14-Dec-22 10:21:40

I'm genuinely astonished at how Amanda has stayed under the radar. They don't even seem to consider her as a possibility! Surely someone is going to point the finger at her eventually.

The traitors are selecting their victims very well, the ones who might give them the most problems. It's all so clever.

Aveline Wed 14-Dec-22 09:17:00

I think the crying is genuine. Their emotions are being played with all the time as they try to second guess each other and also try to show they're faithfuls. The psychological mind games are worse than in 'I'm a Celebrity.' The tasks are much more interesting and also pretty hard.

Does anyone think the crying is real? I mean they are all adults right?

Who knows? It surprised me, but it's maybe part of the "game"!

VB000 Wed 14-Dec-22 09:05:17

Agree with Chestnut - it was a really tough challenge last night... I thought Andrea did well. Amanda must surely win this - they have no clue about her (and Wilf seems to have been forgotten as a suspect now).

Yes Aveline - Maddie is doing my head in!! Yesterday was 7 out of the 12 episodes.

I hope they won't be asked to eat haggis penises if it is going down the IACGMOOH road.🤢

😂😂😂

Aveline Wed 14-Dec-22 07:39:42

I wonder how many episodes to go? I'm beginning to feel just a little sick of them all. I want Maddie out now. She's so annoying. I suspect and hope the traitors will win.

Chestnut Tue 13-Dec-22 23:43:48

That was a really difficult trial rolling the barrels. They always seem to just make it in time with only seconds left, makes me think that timing is set up. We would never know, would we?

My money is still on Amanda to win, but they are both doing really well, not even one vote for either of them tonight!

The faithfuls must feel so gutted every time they vote out one of their own by mistake. They really have no clue, might as well spin a bottle round the table.

lixy Tue 13-Dec-22 19:03:44

Oh good - looking forward to it! Will she or won't she.....!

Unless BBC doesn't show Tuesday evening's football in which case Traitors will be on BBC 1 at 9 pm. Certainly keeping us on our toes!

You're right lixy - it's back tonight at 9pm!

FannyCornforth Mon 12-Dec-22 08:28:12

I haven’t watched it yet, but I think that I’ll start today on iplayer.
I’m quite excited as you all seem to really love it.
I’ll be back later

Chestnut Sun 11-Dec-22 23:35:35

I've got mine on series-record so I try and forget about them until the next one pops up on my screen.

Aveline Sun 11-Dec-22 21:11:17

I hadn't thought about that. Och. I do hate the cliff hanger at the end of each episode.

Doodledog Sun 11-Dec-22 20:28:51

Agreed, Aveline. I'd much rather watch them back to back.

I suppose they might be worried in case people spoil them by letting the cat out of the bag about the winner. There is always someone who can't resist doing that.
