It's hard to believe anything proven liars say Quokka.

Why is it hard to believe that William can be overbearing and a bully? Someone raised in privilege, the knowledge that he is The Heir and will one day be king, is very likely to develop these traits.

As a neutral observer I’ve read what is on BBC and Sky, and it does strike me as a storm in a teacup as I thought with all the hype there would be some major revelations regarding the royal family, and there weren’t - it sounds lukewarm.
There hasn’t been focus on this thread about the role of the media in H&M’s departure, and what should happen as a consequence of that, if anything. I believe what they have said regarding the hounding and misrepresentation, and it is doubtless happening to others still- to it destroys peoples lives - that seems more important than the ‘I said, she said, he said’ stuff to me.

If we saw it in black and white on screen then I missed it smileless.

So was the evidence their lawyer claims to have seen about palace briefings 'sacrificing' H & M in order to protect other members of the RF, and H did refer specifically to his brother in one of the clips, not shown Mamie?

I have watched all six episodes now. I think that H and M were treated appallingly by some of the press, that racism was part of that and that their lives were made extremely difficult.
I have no idea about palace briefings for or against and I don't suppose we will find out. Not enough evidence one way or the other to make a judgement.
I think they come across as extremely self-absorbed and pretty tone deaf at times (the remark about at least Covid means we can walk the dogs springs to mind).
I hope that they stop now and get on with their lives. Finding proper jobs might be a good idea.
It would be interesting to hear from others who have actually watched it.

What point are you trying to make here? Are you saying it should have been played down? Surely that would have been a cover-up and wrong? But it wasn't played down and we have all been able to make up our own minds.

Regarding someone querying the colour of the baby's skin - how do we know that ever happened? Ah, is it because it was said by a couple who have been proven to be liars countless times?

In my book if someone lies to me repeatedly, I don't trust them or believe anything else they say. This is the fate of liars - no one ever knows what little nugget of truth might be amongst the lies. It's their own fault if no one believes them.

There has been no evidence shown for any of the lies spouted by H&M - but we have all been able to judge for ourselves by what comes out of their own mouths. I see hatred and spite and anger and self-pity.

Meanwhile the world goes on turning - people at foodbanks, struggling to keep warm, tragedies with children falling through the ice, people drowning in the Channel, people have lost loved ones - yet these two clowns in Montecito keep on whining about their lot. They had the wedding they wanted, they had Frogmore Cottage made into what they wanted, they have been lucky enough to have the children they wanted, and now they have the life they wanted in California .... why are they still so angry and full of hate and misery?

But these aren't rumours GagaJo they're specific allegations made by H & M, and when some have already been disproved, it's difficult to believe the others.

The UK system of law also requires evidence and hear say does not fall into that category.

Evidence that comments were made about the colour of Archie's skin before he was born. Evidence that the RF and the Palace refused to challenge overt racism in the press, which their lawyer claims to have seen.

As for comments made about Archie prior to his birth, perhaps not possible to prove, but naming the person alleged to have made such comments, would have gone some way to supporting this particular allegation.
