I’m afraid the racist card has been so overplayed on GN it’s lost it’s true meaning.

Well it makes sense that isn't about H & M, they don't "live to lead" they live to please themselves, regardless of who they hurt in the process.

I have watched the first 3 episodes of their documentary so far, and as far as I am concerned they haven't said anything derogatory about anyone so far - I don't blame them for what they have done at all. They just want to protect their children from what Harry had to go through when he was growing up. Fair play to them I think.

I really do not understand why there is such a great loathing of her at all?

As for Jeremy Clarkson, and I have always liked some of his irreverence in the past, but this one was below the belt, and I hope they sue him for racial hatred quite honestly!

Might be interesting, maybe not. I would agree with their admiration for number 1 and 2, but would question their judgment on number 3.

Their foray into politics started when they left the uk.
I wonder what Greta thinks of their globe trotting on private planes.

Aye, of course. Did you look at the trailer?

MawtheMerrier Tue 20-Dec-22 12:57:34

Perhaps I should have been clearer ..

It's not about Meghan and Harry. I think some people may have misunderstood the trailer

Oh that Ruth Bader Ginsberg, what an easily offended woman she was. And as for Gloria Steinem, well what are they thinking, putting her on TV? And as for that little show off Thunberg.... hmm

Mention Harry and Meghan? Then no conclusion unjumped.

Santa might bring them a Christmas box of "Common Sence", they might eventually see what they are doing.

I think it might have been better to air this new 6 part series at a later date so that any fallout from their last one is forgotten.
My problem with it, is that they seem to be trying to portray themselves as " leading by example", along with the same hazy lighting, gushing self praise and emotive music as their last series. I just don't think it is very believable. If you cannot heal a rift in your own families how can they "teach us to heal the world"?
Obviously I have only seen the trailers so far, will have to wait and see.

They say they are " living to lead others" and want to teach us all to do the same and create a better world.

This from two people who have, together and separately, caused so much unhappiness to both their families and continue to do so.

Creating better worlds, like charity, starts at home.

They would never survive in politics - they're much too touchy and easily offended - and they're not "leaders".

Normandygirl Tue 20-Dec-22 10:58:37

Just watched the trailer for new documentary series which Harry and Megan say was inspired by their admiration for Nelson Mandela, Greta Thunberg and Jacinda Ardern amongst others.
They say they are " living to lead others" and want to teach us all to do the same and create a better world.
Is this the beginning of their foray into a political career ?
