With regard to the ‘behind the scenes’ programme, I’m sure a lot of Daily Mail readers would have recognised the name of the programme’s medical consultant, Dr. Martin Scurr.
He has a weekly column in the paper, answering readers’ medical questions, as well as commenting on the current situation with GPs.
He has always seemed a very compassionate man, of the old school when doctors went the extra mile, unlike today when they have apparently voted to just work 9 to 5, and just two or three days a week.
