TV Programmes I Have Never Watched.

There are certain programmes I have never ‘fancied’, so never watched, although others have raved about them.
Some have been on channels I don’t have, so couldn’t view.

They include;

Game Of Thrones.
The Detectorists.
The Royle Family.
Gogglebox.
Spooks.
Doc Martin.
Made In Chelsea (or similar).
Love Island.
The Kardashians.
The Bill.

Must be lots of others, but these pop into mind.

I realise I may be missing out on some good viewing.

Agree with most of your lists, have either never seen them, or rarely seen them.
Admit to seeing bits of The Kardashian’s and Love Island when my granddaughter was living with us.
But The Detectorists is absolute genius, I watched the Christmas special, and have now gone back to series one, I really wish I knew some people like Lance and Andy.
Motherland Christmas special I also enjoyed.

Haven’t watched
Peaky Blinders
Anything Kardashian
Love Island
Jungle
Sci Fi
Hadn’t watched The Crown until recently and then got into it and really enjoying it now. Still on series 3!

I have resisted Love Actually for all these years but watched it yesterday to see why it is thought by some to be the favourite Christmas film. I enjoyed it but would not put it as my number one.

The only one I have watched out of all those mentioned so far is Game of Thrones.

We have just started binge watching Detectorists from the very beginning and are loving it so far.

I've never seen 'Friends' - I gather it's gripped several different age groups if it grabs you at the right time but I was too old to get into it in the first place so it passed me by entirely.

Definitely watched The Royle Family it was required viewing in our house when they were first shown. Stellar acting by the entire cast and still 😊
The Detectorists ..I will be giving them another go from the start and Doc Martin has been a lovely feel good drama in a dreamy setting, even the theme tune makes me happy.
Not into “reality” stuff or horrid Eastenders, (too grim) or Casualty( old hat now) can’t bare The Apprentice, Dragons Den, or Master Chef which for long periods seems never to be off the BBC 📺 also I simply l-o-a-t-h Mrs. Browns Boys. Other than that, I’ll give most things a whirl

NotAGran55

I’ve never seen a TV shopping programme.

I watched at least an hour of this one rainy afternoon in a beachfront holiday house in Wales about 25 years ago because our children were transfixed 🤣

None of us had ever seen anything like it before.
The children had been told they could watch half an hour of cartoons if they could find any.

One of them was only talking about it last week. No idea what they were selling though.

Vera me neither.

I like Brenda Blethyn but Vera's querulous tones annoyed me for five minutes so I never watched any more.

I'm normally so easy to please 😀

Same as OP with the addition of Vera.

IamMaz
It’s the title that puts me off too, though I stood and watched some of the filming.

Callistemon21 Tue 27-Dec-22 11:53:02

Nor me, although it's supposed to be good.

IamMaz Tue 27-Dec-22 11:44:02

I’ve not watched Peaky Blinders. It’s the title that does it for me - sounds horrible!!!! LOL

Sparklefizz Tue 27-Dec-22 11:38:28

I admit I've sometimes watched one episode of some programmes listed in this thread and thought - never again!

Me too! Death in Paradise is one. Loose Women is another.

M0nica

Easier to list the programmes I have watched than those I haven't.

😂😂😂

Yes, I'm looking at the lists posted above and nodding my head to so many of them..

We've recorded The Detectorists and Motherland.
Gavin and Stacey Loved Gavin and Stacey!

We used to like Death in Paradise with Kris Marshall so settled down for a bit of mind-numbing telly last night after all the Christmas excitement.
Don't bother with Death in Paradise - it was dire.

Mollygo Tue 27-Dec-22 10:42:22

Game of Thrones
Coronation Street
Emmerdale- though we put it in for my Dad when he stayed with us.

Reality TV programs -which is why I don’t know who ‘celebrities’ are.
