Yes it is a very thought provoking film but a hard watch. I don't know how anyone could be quite the same again after what they went through.

Have just watched this film. Very depressing but thought provoking. What these men went through! I am very interested in what happened when the men returned home to normal lives after the first world war, and second world war. Are there any films about this subject?
