Just that - I enjoy this almost as much as Strictly.
It's on at 6.30pm on ITV.

Yes, good to see all are appearing tonight.

"Top Gun" music took me back to our son's 6th form days, he & his friends were great fans, (he's 50 now!!). DS has enjoyed seeing the new film recently.
Unfortunately Darren didn't quite enforce those memories.

I've always loved "Diversity", so I'm looking forward to seeing them tonight.

I agree with you Sparklefizz, I'm not at all comfortable with the headbanger, ( even when the professionals do it).

Sparklefizz Sun 19-Feb-23 19:36:21

WOW! Nile's routine was fantastic, I thought. So exciting to watch. I'm amazed that the marking was lower than The Viv's.

gillgran Sun 19-Feb-23 19:40:31

Nile's still my favourite, I thought he was as good or better than the others, Although I appreciate that the judges know best...........!?

Looking forward to seeing Diversity on the ice. Peri should be good because he took part in Dancing on Ice a couple of years ago, and I thought he should have won but Ashley kept under-marking him, presumably because he didn't want to look as if he was favouring him. I thought that was a shame.

W O W !!! Peri was just amazing. He is even better than the professionals because of his gymnastic abilities. I love him!

A lovely local lad.

Diversity have purchased a local church and are renovating it to become a dance school.

Excellent programme tonight.
Nile was brilliant as always.
And Diversity - what can you say, just blew me away - fabulous.

That's good to hear GG13. Where's "local"?

S E Essex, one of the Diversity Boys was in DD yr at college. Perry was often seen in Lakeside shopping with his mum. They have no airs of importance, and do a lot for the young folks in the area.

I love him even more now! I remember when Diversity first broke onto the scene and Peri was just a small lad with a big mop of hair. He has always been fearless. I saw him on the programme "Splash" and even though he said he was blind without his glasses, he was diving off the top board without being able to see. I was terrified for him.

Nile and Siva were great tonight and I will say now - I hope they are both in the Final as I love watching them skate.

Diversity blew me away too.
And Siva in the skate off 😱 Glad he got through.
Carly is consistently good but has a background of performing since a child and it does help.

The Judges' Challenge is gradually weeding them out. Some of them last night hardly did a jump at all.

I want Nile to win and think that the judges are slightly under-marking him so that it doesn't become a foregone conclusion at this point in the show. Of course, I could be completely wrong sad but I find Nile and Siva exciting to watch, and the others not so much, but I have no idea about the skating techniques that Jayne and Chris are looking for.

Have loved Diversity since 2009. There are times when they've made me almost cry with delight. And yesterday was one of those moments.

Bonnie Langford actually DID get her head bashed on the ice doing the head banger way back in series 1. I think she was partnered with Matt Evers. How she carried on with the rest of the series is a mystery to me, because she hit with a right thump!

Some terrific skating tonight (and also some nasty injuries!)
Anyone else watching?

Oh Yes! I'm watching, just enjoyed seeing my favourite, Nile.
They are all really good now, aren't they?

Sparklefizz Sun 26-Feb-23 19:26:01

Nile's my favourite too and I vote for him every week. I loved his routine this week. I also enjoyed Carley's skating as it was quite theatrical.

GrannyGravy13 Sun 26-Feb-23 19:41:14

A good night skating wise, unless soap fans vote for Molly I think it will be between her and Siva in the skate off.

TillyTrotter Sun 26-Feb-23 19:56:35

Is it the semi final next week?
This series has whizzed by. I think sadly it is Siva’s time to go.

TillyTrotter Sun 26-Feb-23 19:57:56

Nile, Joey and James are all improving each week. The props were different and the routines fun.
Shame Siva was given a slow piece of music - it shows the errors more,

TillyTrotter Sun 26-Feb-23 20:00:04

Oh blow me down.
Carly has been fabulous.

Sparklefizz Sun 26-Feb-23 20:00:20

I expected Molly to be in the skate off and I thought she'd go home tonight.

Yes, the Semi Final has come round really quickly. Then there's a double elimination next week!! shock

Charleygirl5 Sun 26-Feb-23 22:15:19

I also was amazed that Molly was not in the skate off and it must be her Coronation Street followers saving her.

I would love The Vivienne to win but Nile is also really good.
