I'm just watching one a week but it is very emotional isn't it? and quite observational descriptive of the pressures working women are under, especially when they have young children

Agreed, Seadragon. Good to be reminded of how hard a high flying career still is for women and I suspect the portrayal of the current state of our hospitals is not exaggerated. Am rationing myself to weekly episodes but it’s hard.

Having just watched the second episode, I think the current PM and the current Health Minister should be locked in a room and forced to watch all 6 episodes of 'Maternal' back to back.

Just watched the last episode. What an emotional roller coaster! Excellent series examining the various dilemmas. This poor girls! ⚕️

Have binge watched this series good storyline and defo gets you hooked. Having said I wouldn't want to be admitted to that hospital for fear of being treated by one of the drs who have so many personal issues!!!

Just watched the first episode wasn’t sure before I watched but I’m hooked!downloading as I speak.

I've watched it all too, and also loved it. I don't usually watch ITV etc because of the adverts, but found there were not so many as to be irritating, so will probably watch more ITVX in future.

I watched it and loved it. Best drama I've seen for ages.

I must say I'm finding it a bit stressful to watch. The various dilemmas of balancing such full on careers with family life rings true. I always preferred female doctors but now I'm not so sure - they must be so tired and stressed!

I didn't realise I could binge watch, runs off to catch up on episode 2.

I did start a thread on this but I think I got the title wrong.
I did enjoy it and will continue watching.
Funny, sad and a realisation how ‘run off their feet’ the medical team are.

I watched the first episode and think I may be warming to it.
I prefer to record programmes on commercial channels so that I can skip the ads which detract from my enjoyment.
