BBC4/iPlayer to host dramas from the past

I thought “An Englishman Abroad” was one of the most memorable pieces of drama I’d seen - on a par with
Alan Bennett’s “A Question of Attribution”. I’d like to see that one again.

I have to admit I don’t recognise any of them. Makes me realise how much TV I watch now.

I remember watching Jack Rosenthal’s Eskimo Day when it was first broadcast.

I thought that Pat and Margaret was an odd choice as it is quite often repeated on Gold, but I see that is being shown as part of an evening celebrating Gransnet’s favourite woman Victoria Wood, on what would have been her 70th birthday.
What a terribly sad day is was when she died.
