Will the genetic testing results be bad news? I assume they will hear them when they hear the sex of the baby. This can't be all over already, can it?

I thought they told you the baby's sex there and then? Mine were born just before that was an option, but I thought the radiographer could tell.

Remember Leanne and Toyah when they first came onto the street? Characters always start off OTT then turn respectable remarkably quickly. It's like a rehabilitation centre on those cobbles. Criminals mend their ways, anti-social families are tamed, and teenage mums become business moguls. If Courtney hangs around long enough she'll be running the WI.

It's the law in Soapland. No mistake goes unpunished, and every sexual act out of wedlock results in pregnancy.

Clawdy I initially thought that, but almost at the end of the episode, when Adam spoke about getting the document that he specifically asked for, Sarah did not look happy at all. There is no grief, misery, rows or shouting to be had if the baby is Adam's - the scriptwriters cannot have that, surely?

the 'courtney ' character is played by stephanie davis who was in hollyoaks for a few years until she turned up for work in an unfit state.

It was probably too simple for the baby to be Adam's. A whole new storyline begins now with Damon returning, and endless rows between the Platts and the Barlows.

Got to hand it to Corrie writers they sure come up with contrasting stories - Aadi's sex bomb story and Todd's nomination for young undertaker of the year not to mention poor Paul's tragedy.
