I have no idea what this film is really about, but as Barbie was introduced to the world pretty much on my birthday, I feel quite protective about the doll and her image.
Barbie doesn't age, I do, Barbie never looks a mess, I often do. Barbie never puts on weight,
not true here. Barbie will never die, I'm guessing I will. That for me is the irreconcilable truth. But not to be put off, in my pursuit of perfectionism, I've just rifled my wardrobe for some pink trousers and a sparkly top ready to head for the cinema.
Anyone else going?
