Is anyone still listening or have you given up?

Wyllow3 Sun 25-Aug-24 12:45:02

Alice is probably due another "remembering session" this week too?

Wyllow3 Sun 25-Aug-24 12:44:04

Thata a good guess I reckon them moving into Willow Farm, but I wondered again - poor Kirsty. Unless she rents from Alistair's Dad!

eGJ Sun 25-Aug-24 11:29:44

That doesn't bear thinking about Farzanah Perhaps Alistair and Denise will move into Willow Farm together, but where will Kirsty go?

Farzanah Sun 25-Aug-24 10:35:27

If it was realistic the trial would wait 2 years or longer! Thank goodness it’s isn’t. How much more can the deteriorating drama be stretched before finally imploding? Not more than a week I hope.
I agree about Alistair and Denise.
Don’t want to hear them in the shower 😱

Wyllow3 Sun 25-Aug-24 09:03:07

I don't think it has been scheduled yet?

Delila Sat 24-Aug-24 13:28:18

Hope we don’t have to drag through another week of Denise & Alistair’s tedious “romance” and Paul’s angst before we get to another cliffhanger next Friday! When is the court case scheduled to happen?

Iam64 Sat 24-Aug-24 12:04:12

Ed will be so angry and upset. A betrayal by his wife and his brother / again. Is there any coming back from this

merlotgran Sat 24-Aug-24 10:18:12

FGS Emma. Tell Ed before things get any worse.

Wyllow3 Sat 24-Aug-24 00:48:47

Surely she cant bear the awfulness for long -something will crack. and they always leave us with a cliffhanger on Fridays, most frustrating...

Delila Fri 23-Aug-24 23:32:13

I wouldn’t say Emma’s tone was holier than thou - I’d say she’s experiencing a “dark night of the soul”. Serious stuff.

Scribbles Fri 23-Aug-24 23:17:53

If Emmur and Will won't give in to blackmail and Cloive carries out his threat, then Emmur and Will can bask in the comfort of knowing they didn't break any promises but the whole thing will be blown wide open and, with luck, George will go to jail.
With even more luck, Emmur and Will could be charged with concealing a crime, withholding evidence, aiding and abetting a criminal or something . I'd settle for anything that wiped the holier-than-thou tone from Emmur's every utterance and got her thrown off the parish council.
One thing puzzles me: how did George have a phone number for Cloive? Surely, nobody in the family would have it and pass it on, and the last time Cloive had any contact with the Horrobins, George must have been a very small child (if he was even born then. I'm struggling with the timeline).

Wyllow3 Fri 23-Aug-24 21:39:04

Cloive threatening, and creepy. George more manipulative.

Wish they hadn't gone down this route.

No it doesn't bode well unless Em and Will decide to do the right thing.

mae13 Fri 23-Aug-24 20:31:30

Georgie is well on the way to becoming "a wrong 'un". Turning to 'Uncle Cloive' for moral support and advice?

It'll end in tears......and probably prison.

eGJ Fri 23-Aug-24 19:20:34

Hope Susan’s not around. The last time 5hey met didn’t go well

eGJ Fri 23-Aug-24 19:09:03

Sorry not Alf, but Clive. However a Horrabin not a Grundy ex con!

eGJ Fri 23-Aug-24 19:07:26

NotS didn’t know you wrote the scripts!

NotSpaghetti Thu 22-Aug-24 21:35:28

Or Alf?

Wyllow3 Thu 22-Aug-24 20:23:41

Clive Horrobin?

The family will go...OMG....and Susan....

Delila Thu 22-Aug-24 19:55:16

One of the Horrobins?

merlotgran Thu 22-Aug-24 19:36:44

Well it’s clearly somebody that Emma doesn’t like.

Delila Thu 22-Aug-24 19:33:32

There’s nobody surprising in the cast list……any suggestions? 🤔

Wyllow3 Thu 22-Aug-24 19:24:27

Agree!!!!!!!

Emma just decided it OK to keep it all quiet...some new figure about to enter stage right

eGJ Thu 22-Aug-24 19:17:25

AAAGH how long are they going to string this out?

Farzanah Tue 20-Aug-24 14:47:11

If Ed finds out he won’t cover up.

Wyllow3 Tue 20-Aug-24 08:53:29

People will be asking awkward questions when he doesn't turn up for work - will Emma and Will further cover up.
