The Archers

It was a meeting about refugees and no one turned up because of what they thought of Alan. Not the baptism.

I must have missed something. Did neither Rob nor the other vicar turn up? I didn’t think Alan was officiating, so I was surprised he was there at all.

My money’s on Henry for Churchdoorgate.

Isn’t Jack a bit old for a playhouse? Could be a treehouse I suppose but they live in a new build so would have to be a fast growing tree!

Well, do we think George is a reformed character? Tomorrow sounds traumatic for Alan and next week could be worse.

Yes, and perhaps she could look deeper into Rob’s terminal diagnosis.
This can’t all be in aid of seeing Jack before he dies - I think he’s planning something longer-term.

Hopefully Usha won’t dither and will tell Harrison that Rob has threatened her.

Ah…..communication between Alan & Usha on the subject of Rob. Better late than never.

I don’t know - must have missed that. But I did think that the whole consultant setup, with the insistence that Helen should be present etc. even when she protested the legal situation between them, was very odd.

Didn’t Helen and Lee check out the consultant on the hospital’s website?

Usha knows the truth about Helen and Rob’s relationship, so when Rob implied things were better between them Alan will have known he was lying.

Is there any way Rob could be lying about the seriousness of his condition? He always sounds as though he’s play-acting, and Alan obviously had doubts about it.

merlotgran

Wow! Alan. Top marks!

Get thee down to Bridge Farm PDQ and warn Helen.

Great list 👏👏😂

Jazzy & Tracy going with Brad! And Rob hasn’t changed has he?

I don’t believe in Chelsea organising a reading of an old book. Maybe they are trying to show her as a different character to the hair n make up girl, but how many teenagers would want to be reading a book with a bunch of oldies?

Yes, merlot forgotten new name ! Usha will know the terms of the restraining order and will have to report it.

Why was Alan worried about Usha walking in on them? It’s not his fault Rob turned up out of the blue.

If I hear the words lark Rise to Candleford once more I might throw up!

Alan Franks is the vicar eGJ, easy to misname as he’s been in the Ambridge cupboard with his wife Usha and other silent characters for some time.

Oh yes. He sounds just like Richard Lock who used to be the Ambridge GP.

It’s another Ambridge ethical dilemma for Alan. I hope he passes it to the Bishop. Rob T has moved to Penny Hassett and is trying to bully Alan. Leopard - spots

Richard??

Well Richard has a problem hasn’t he? No doubt Usha will be looking at the legal aspects, but living in Penny Hassett may well be a little too close for comfort.

Yes Merlot, yes!

Thank goodness for that. I’m all Lark Rised out!

Rob’s back next week to spoil the Lark Rise induced bucolic atmosphere!

Started to tune in again after a long time and enjoying it. Although, there are certain characters who are less that tolerable!
