Confession ….. I have never watched more than a few minutes of this prog but this time around I plan to because Fred Sirieix, Grace Dent and Nigel Farage are in it which should be interesting.

3 nights isnt a lot is it. For a considerable amount of money.

So I wonder if they get paid if they miss the final show. It's interesting.

I think as long as they stay in for 3 nights they get paid the full amount. I can’t see Grace or Jamie flying back all that way just for the final show. Considering they left for “medical reasons” they may not even be well enough to return.

Joseann Thu 30-Nov-23 11:16:22

Does this mean the more that leave, the longer the programme will have to hold off the voting out business?

Grace arrived back in the UK 24 hrs after leaving the jungle.

I suspect that in a few years time we will look back on the trials involving creatures in the same way we look at other mistakes/unpleasantness from the past.

they couldn't use anything 'live' in Wales iirc because of the UKs animal welfare laws.

The only shame is I can think it would be quite frightening being in enclosed space with loads of swans for example or geese

maddyone Thu 30-Nov-23 10:26:27

I understand Grace was seen at the airport on her way home. I don’t know anything about what Jamie Lyn has done or gone since she left.

Galaxy Thu 30-Nov-23 10:19:12

I dont know if that is included in their contract, they might have to take part in that bit, I dont know.

FindingNemo15 Thu 30-Nov-23 10:13:27

I hope that Grace and Jamie Lynn are not at the final reunion party which means they have been staying in luxury in the hotel. They apparently left for medical reasons and JL was homesick, so surely they should both go straight home.

I couldn’t do the water trial either

Shinamae Wed 29-Nov-23 23:48:57

I felt sorry for Nigel, not been able to deal with that trial, but I also felt sorry for the critters that were in there. One of the snakes seem to be going absolutely berserk. I’m sure it wasn’t happy. I think he was in Nick’s cubicle
And it certainly not nice for the lizards,or crabs either..

maddyone Wed 29-Nov-23 23:33:26

I don’t like being under water and so I understand anyone who also feels that way. And the water was dirty and dirt is another of my phobias. The animals bothered Nick more than Nigel, but Nick didn’t mind being under water and so he did really well getting the stars. It was a difficult trial. Now I’ve seen Nick do a trial, I like him.
Nella is still irritating me. I hope she goes first when the evictions start.

rafichagran Wed 29-Nov-23 21:41:08

I think Nella should go, she is immature, and twists things to create a scene. I find her a PITA.
I am sorry Jamie Lyn has gone as I liked her.
Nick is a slow burner, he is pleasant, and he was very good in that trial. Nigel just could not hold his breath.
I think Nick is the one I am liking the most at the moment.

tickingbird Wed 29-Nov-23 19:43:13

Well my prediction regarding Jamie Lynn fell flat didn’t it

Smileless. I totally agree with you regarding Nella. The sooner she goes the better.

Smileless2012 Wed 29-Nov-23 19:32:43

She childishly strops about and generally behaves like a toddler of course she does, so that anyone who thinks about criticising her will ultimately think that she's not clever enough to deliberately do these things.

If you've ever encountered anyone like this, you'd know precisely what she's doing and why.

Primrose53 Wed 29-Nov-23 19:24:13

Obscure word used in the cameo which the Gold Coast reporter says he can guarantee 90% of viewers would have no idea was racist. he says he had never heard of the word.

Evictions start this weekend.

Primrose53 it’s always up to the editors what is shown on air, they put out what they think will garner the most viewers along with publicity.

I heard today there have been some really good discussions in camp, many involving NF but they cut them out because they don’t want him to win. I don’t have ITVX but it seems you can watch everything on there uncut.

maddyone Wed 29-Nov-23 17:45:49

Jamie Lyn has gone. It’s been said on medical grounds but they always say that. I think she’d had enough. It’s a shame, I liked her.
I wish Nella would go, I’ve had enough of her childish strops.

Aveline Wed 29-Nov-23 17:38:34

I don't think she's clever enough to deliberately do these things. She childishly strops about and generally behaves like a toddler. The others are pretty kind to her considering how she behaves. However, I suspect they're giving some thought to how they themselves might be being seen on TV.

Smileless2012 Wed 29-Nov-23 17:34:49

I think she's extremely devious and cunning. She draws others in by twisting or completely fabricating what other camp mates have said.

NF did not refuse to acknowledge/dis respect the experiences of black people. Fred's comment about being old enough to be her father had no connection to the fact that her parents are deceased.

She twists what's said, sulks, refuses to engage with whoever she claims has disrespected her (she said earlier on you only disrespect her once), and tries to get others on side by lying.

The sooner she leaves the better.

Aveline Wed 29-Nov-23 17:21:02

I don't think Nella is 'devious and cunning'. I reckon she's just not very bright or had a good education other than via TikTok or Instagram

OldFrill Wed 29-Nov-23 17:19:25

Jamie Lyn has quit

According to polls NF is going to win. Hope he does. A kick in the whatsits for the lefties.
