Confession ….. I have never watched more than a few minutes of this prog but this time around I plan to because Fred Sirieix, Grace Dent and Nigel Farage are in it which should be interesting.

The most intelligent people I know watch or read non serious content. It's a total mystery to me why usually bright people cant understand this.

Well said grin

Allsorts Sat 25-Nov-23 23:08:21

Odd one and Bluebell, that's your opinion. .others don't agree.
I can't watch it because of that loud mouthed Nella, but I hear she has a following.

Once again Nella made it all about her when she did the challenge with Sam. He is like a cute, enthusiastic puppy due to his ADHD but she decided that wasn't allowed, he had to do things her way, so no excitement, just calm vibes. This is totally out of character for her, when has she ever emitted calm vibes? Poor Sam had to control himself and act the way she wanted him to behave which is so selfish.

that's a good point.

Perhaps she was afraid he was getting all the good attention for being upbeat?

For my taste he is driving me up the wall grin

Anyway she failed again and couldn't complete the trial. When does the voting out start? Soon I hope. I reckon Grace might soon walk. She looks unwell and just looked away as Ant and Dec outlined the next trial.

I agree about Grace, she looks as white as a sheet, not well at all.

merlotgran Sat 25-Nov-23 22:33:59

I’m sorry but Sam would drive me nuts. The look on Frankie Dettori’s face was classic. 😂

rafichagran Sat 25-Nov-23 22:19:44

I am really liking Jamie Lyn.

I enjoy it, I do not tune in to every programme all the way through, but do manage to watch enough to keep up (if you see what I mean)

I think Jamie Lynn is doing really well, she seems to have settled into camp life, I like Josie, she appears to be an easy going fun loving person. Fred is coming over as having a slight superiority complex, Nigel is his own man. Yella Nella has such huge chips on her shoulders I am surprised she can move around. The other campers all seem to be getting on with things and are coming across as nice people.

I watch it because I like it! Simple as!

Me too. The only thing I agree about you Odd One is your user name. You come on a thread to insult intelligent Grans who watch a programme they enjoy in their down time. You accuse posters of having no taste/morals and you don't know them. Totally idiotic.

If you don't watch the programne, why on earth are you commenting and insulting people who do enjoy it.

Matt Hancock annoyed me intensely, the little I saw of him. He seemed to be constantly trying to justify to himself his bad behaviour in his private life.
What an immature drip.

I still held on to my belief that he wasn’t fit to be the Minister for Health during Covid
He certainly wasn't.

maddyone Sat 25-Nov-23 10:36:55

I think much of it is to do with Nigel Farage being on the programme this year. Last year it was because Matt Hancock was on.
I watch because I enjoy watching the interactions between the contestants, even if I previously didn’t know who the contestants were. You build a picture of the person and who is a nice person and who is not. To be honest Matt Hancock came across as a nice and reasonable person last year, but even though I saw that, I still held on to my belief that he wasn’t fit to be the Minister for Health during Covid. But it was interesting to see the persona behind the official person.
But that’s me, I’m a bit of a people watcher. I find people interesting.

If you don't like a tv programme that is being discussed by fans Please Don't Bother to come on here to tell us!! because *WE DON'T CARE!!!!!!!*

😁

I don't really watch it much but I agree.

It's amazing the number of posters who go on threads just to say they don't like a programme (any programme) and never watch it.
Why on earth would you bother except to make other people feel bad because they do watch something?

Grace Dent has been disappointing so far. She clearly doesn’t want to be there. I expected her to be more assertive and I think she’ll be one of the first to go.

yellowfox Sat 25-Nov-23 06:47:18

Get rid of Nella, she is mouthy and lacking in any sign on intelligence.
Nigel is more than capable of holding his own with Grace Dent or anyone else.
He will keep his cool, unlike some others.

Couldn’t bear to watch anything with Farage in it hateful man

Couldn't agree more! Just seeing his face makes me feel ill!

Are you sure you weren’t looking in your mirror? 🤣🤣🤣*

I'm sorry, did I trigger you? Are you a Farage fan, then? Take all sorts, I suppose. There's no accounting for taste.......or morals.

maddyone Sat 25-Nov-23 00:27:58

I watch it because I enjoy seeing the interactions between the contestants, whether they are well known to me or not. If I do know the person I find the interactions with the other contestants even more interesting.
I don’t enjoy the trials particularly, but I do enjoy seeing how the various contestants approach a trial and how they deal with it. I hate the eating trials, I’d rather not watch them and not often go and get myself a drink while they’re on.

Chestnut Sat 25-Nov-23 00:10:01

Jamie Lynn has been fantastic on the trials and I already said I think she might win. She has talked about Britney but only when asked. Fred asked her about the Madonna kiss.

crazyH Fri 24-Nov-23 23:53:17

Jamie Lynn was fantastic! And to be fair, not once has mentioned Britney. If I had a famous sibling, I’d shout if from the rooftops 😂Did I hear someone say that she is estranged from her sister ?

henetha Fri 24-Nov-23 23:31:26

I watch it because I want to. It makes me laugh and I enjoy seeing the characters develop.
Elementary, my dear Watson.

I'm fed up with all the attention focused on Nella. If she doesn't leave, I will give up on it. There must be more interesting topics amongst the camp mates to explore than her personal issues.
Jamie Lynne redeemed herself in the trial.

jamie Lynne was fantastic. I wouldn’t have made it to the first platform. 🤣🤣

I have only seen the programme so far up to this point, so have only read this far.

I said to someone, Jamie Lynne doing the trial like that, made me not keen to go up the loft ladder look a little silly!

Though I do know someone who had an accident because of one, so I am biased and extra careful with them.

I like watching human behaviour, whether that makes me an imbecile or an animal is a mystery to everyone
I imagine
But let’s face it, I’m a woman over 35 so I’m invisible anyway 🤷‍♀️🪓

I like watching human behaviour

Yes!! This.

It's fascinating.
