Hey! I've ploughed through 7 pages because I sat and watched the Joan Collins interview this very afternoon and wanted to comment. She made me laugh, she looks great for 90, is still as sharp as a tack and full of life. I visited my grandchildren yesterday afternoon and one of them had watched the interview and said, Grandma, she's just like you but with more hair! I'm not anything like JC but it made me howl with laughter as I think he meant we are both old! Watching the interview was a lovely way to lose an hour on a grey cold Sunday afternoon!
I had no idea that she was at the Lebedev house party and now I am very intrigued. I wonder what KP was doing under the table near Boris? Doesn't bare thinking about!

Fleurpepper why not start a thread about the Lebedev House Parties 2011-2016 , many high profile people were guests…

GreatNan ( Carol ) died in 2013, she knew nothing about the incident you are referring to which was relatively recent.

Since we are at it- the pms sent to me to 'out me' in confidence, on 1st of October 2022, have all been deleted, including my reply asking for this to be kept confidential 'by request'. How strange.

No, GreatNan was a very close friend- she never ever knew me as FleurPepper. I was outed by another member, by pm- then on here. Because of comments and personal attacks under my previous GN name (the reason GN became such a great friend because she was shocked at those attacks and could not understand) I had chosen not to mention where I live.

Annie1, I am British- have been since 1973 (arrived in 1970), and lived in England for 40 years, married to a Brit, with British ACs and GCs. I returned to Switzerland to look after my very elderly parents when we retired. England will always be home too.

Possibly not as many posters who have been on here for years know FleurPepper lives in Switzerland, having lived in the UK for many years before that. FleurPepper has said so herself on more than one occasion, so I'm not sure why there is a problem.

I have to say reading this last page, I am even more intrigued by Fleur Pepper. Most Grans living overseas do not mind other Grans knowing they are not in UK. However, FP was tricked into revealing that she lives in Switzerland. Many moons ago dear husband and I so enjoyed meeting our family members who had a home there that we considered buying a home in France close to the Swiss border ( we could not afford a house in Switzerland) So FP I feel quite jealous of you but did not expect a Swiss dweller to have such a detailed knowledge and interest of the parties attended by Boris and Joan Collins. And so cool about making libellous comments even if warned by a British lawyer. It as though British law does not apply to her or maybe him. I love a good mystery!

Now we have a suggestion that Johnson was plied with drugs as well as drink. At least if FP will not reply she won’t be making more libellous comments. I won’t hold my breath though. ‘Many have wondered’ - not on here it seems. Alice indeed.

The possibility that he may have been blackmailed because of his behaviour that week-end, plied with drink, and very possibly a lot more - has been voiced by many. I should have put a question mark. As said, many have wondered for a long time why Katie Price and Joan Collins were not interviewed to find our more about what happened- and feel that Theroux had the perfect opportunity to do so. A lot more interesting, for some, many of us, than the tittle tattle. Will not reply.

For Lucky -- it wouldn't have mattered what Theroux might have known about the odious Savile -- he had the protection of Thatcher AND the Royals, who all thought he was great due to the charity fund-raising.

Ignoring the politics here as Joan is an actor and not a politician, I thought it was less interesting than I hoped. Yes she’s demanding, I suspect living her life and being 90 probably make that inevitable. I love Louis, I didn’t see the Saville programme but am interested in seeing it. The Pete Doherty interview was better I thought, he is a mess.
