Anyone watch the first part of The Great Climate Fight on Channel 4?

I’ve just watched it and I did think they (the presenters) were on a mission to show us that the political will to deal with our carbon footprint seems to be absent.
I think that came over loud and clear and I think that it left me with a sense of sadness that no one who could do much about it is willing to grasp the nettle. We need an all party effort but I think that is highly unlikely.
Those politicians may be reading the room correctly. We, the electorate as a whole, seem to want cheap, clean energy but we probably won’t vote for those who are determined to give it to us. It will be costly and, until it’s in place, will be uncomfortable.

I know he annoys a few people (which is not a bad thing because at least they notice him) but Chris Packham's series Earth was quite compelling and interesting.

What qualifications, experience and knowledge does Mary Portas have to impart? Surely nothing of significance about climate change?
Perhaps he other two might be able to help give hints about sustainable food production or building but it's hardly going to change the minds of world governments.

Perhaps it might be worth watching Life on Our Planet, if you have Netflix. How the world has changed and adapted throughout the life of our planet.

As I said, parts of these programme are rather juvenile, but really worth watching, for the shocking stats, and the way the government is letting us down.
