I’ve just watched The Holly and the Ivy - a real period piece and the aunts so reminiscent of similar people in my childhood.

I’ve seen this a couple of times on Talking Pictures and thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m a huge Cary Grant fan. I love the ice skating scene, so funny. Hope you enjoy it.

Is on BBC2 on Friday (22nd) at 9am. I’d never heard of this film but have been told several times now that it’s a Christmas must watch. So I must remember to watch it!
