Joanna Lumley Michelle Keegan Adeel Akhtar star in this limited drama - keeps you guessing .. very believable story line..

This was fantastic; I binge-watched it! I was intrigued from the first few minutes and did not see the conclusion coming. Yes, there were a few narrative flaws in retrospect, but they are forgiven since the series was so fantastic. The most amazing sight I've seen in a long time Gransnet . Michelle Keegan is stunning and skilled, and Adheel Akhtar was fantastic.

Overall, excellent! We watched the entire movie in one day because we were captivated! There were a few story gaps but nothing too serious, and some of the military parts could have used a little more investigation, but Michelle Keegan was fantastic! Amart Furniture Promo Code I've seen some negative things about her, but she's an attractive and accomplished lady, so she's sure to draw some envy.

I’ve two episodes to watch. I’m enjoying it and see Michelle Keegan as a good actor. Joanna Lumley is always a joy. Looking forward to seeing if my thoughts about how the plot will conclude are right
Harlan Coben writes good easy page turners. His are set in American but transfer easily to Britain, great idea

I don’t normally watch anything with JL in it. However decided to watch this and am enjoying it two episodes in. Looking forward to the conclusion.

Yes I am enjoying it 2 episodes to go. Michelle Keegan very good in this.

Bea65 Thu 04-Jan-24 13:46:50

Yes Michelle Keegan was good and the whole cast in this Thriller
Am now watching another Harlan Coben - Hold Tight 😀

This is gripping. It's split into 8 episodes and I'm only on number 4. I can see I won't get much done tomorrow!! sad

Loved it! Didn't realise it was filmed in and around Gtr Manchester until I saw Monton Sports and Social club being used as the local football club! MK was really good.

I’m half way through and loving it.

Sitting here, way past my bedtime just starting on the 8th episode. I can't believe I've been sat here for nigh on 8 hours.

But it's captured my attention and I just can't wait until tomorrow.

Little bit complicated now and then but it's been the best thing I've watched this year.

Which isn't saying much I know! But it's been excellent.

Sparklefizz Fri 05-Jan-24 20:38:45

Wow! Just finished it. All I can say is excellent!!

Same sparklefizz - really good and Keegan can act

I finished watching this yesterday. Really enjoyed it as I have most of other Harlan Corben series.

Already a fan of HC I watched this series back to back during an at home day. Loved it, the suspense and unexpected twists and turns. Not the ending I was expecting.

Bea65 Sat 06-Jan-24 12:07:08

Kalu no I didn’t expect the ending either- a mark of a good Thriller! Sometimes am very disappointed at endings as in my head I’ve solved it🤣

Shirleyw Sat 06-Jan-24 22:11:51

Yes, I binged watched…thoroughly enjoyed it, fine acting.

Oldbat1 Sat 06-Jan-24 22:20:14

It was ok! Found it very odd that only two policemen were tasked with trying to solve a crime where folk had been murdered.

annsixty Sat 20-Jan-24 20:26:42

I am now on episode 6 and I think it is a load of tosh.
Maybe watchable tosh but tosh never the less.
I can't enjoy anything with Joanna Lumley in it as all she can play is Joanna Lumley.
Why am I still watching?
I have no idea.

Sara1954 Sat 20-Jan-24 20:58:40

My colleagues really raved about this, one guy watched the whole thing straight through, so I thought I’d give it a go.
I agree the acting was good, but I honestly can’t see it was that amazing. There seemed to be a lot of stuff which wasn’t really relevant, for example, the half brother, was any of that relevant to the plot?
Maybe it was and I missed it, also the eighteen years on didn’t seem right, it definitely didn’t seem to be set eighteen years ago.

merlotgran Sat 20-Jan-24 21:05:45

I thought the ending was rushed but that often spoils a good drama these days.

HowVeryDareYou2 Sun 21-Jan-24 18:45:36

One of our sons recommended it, so my husband and I put it on last night. By episode 3, I couldn't carry on watching it - I thought it was far-fetched and ridiculous. He carried on watching it today, to the end. Believable storyline? grin
