I thoroughly enjoy it. It has the same effect as The Durrells, lovely sunny scenery in the depths of January. Sue Holderness's dreadful ex pat reminds me very much of someone I knew in the South Of France. I love all Sally's clothes and the occasional guest stars, like Tony Robinson.

It is daft. Completely unrealistic but there are plenty of gritty realistic crime dramas around.

I love.it. Easy watching. I love her clothes and her hair.
Silly plots and some humour.
Though the posh couple are so irritating.

I agree it is rubbish

We love spotting the places we know and reminiscing about happy times spent on Gozo!

Ok, so it’s Gozo made to look like the south of France…

Really like this series, lighthearted, filmed on lovely Gozo, lived there for a short while, then visited family there. Beautiful island, lovely people.
Why they even bothered to say its in the south France, I've no idea. The name I suppose,but even French people move. I sometimes think script writers cant see beyond the end of their noses.

But it's like eating too much chocolate, sometimes it just makes you feel better then you think "Why did I do that?"

And then I do it again! 🤣🤣

I saw this for the first time last week and to be honest thought it was utter rubbish. I won't watch it again for sure.

of course it is..the plots are ridiculous and obviously not feasible but it is a parody with froth and frills and gorgeous landscapes

I love it , I've watched all the series so far . I did Google where is it filmed . Its gozo, Malta, looks lovely there. I think her style suits her body shape 😍

I think there's meant to be a degree of eccentricity about her and this dress style helps.

I think that they are probably cool and flattering!

I rather liked the green outfit she wore last time we watched. It’s a very lightweight show, imo. Rather along the lines of Shakespeare and Hathaway. Lovely setting though, in the south of France.
