Coma.

Apparently, at the wrap party he showed off his dancing skills. Wish I was there.

I was dying to see how the elderly neighbour got up his ultra modern stairs. ! There is no way he would be living in such a property.
Also why didn’t Sophie resemble her parents?

Shuffle up and down on his bottom
My uncle is far more doddery than this chap but gets up and down with ease.

It was a good ending. Glad it turned out OK for all.

Well that’s was ok had a beginning a middle and an end
Don’t understand why you say why didn’t Sophie resemble her parents not everyone looks like their parents !!! she had two eyes, a mouth, nose and hair what more did you want ! 🤣

I thought it was excellent acting all round.

Paul was a baddie, but definitely had a softer side.

Hope Jordan learned from all this, and changed his ways.

Definite improvement on the hopeless ‘Love Rat’.

Just what we said and we also wondered why his house was decorated like a 1970s house. Wallpaper, carpets, old furniture etc. He said he had lived there 20 years.

Amazing how many people escaping from baddies seem to know exactly where the back entrance to a hotel is and don’t get totally lost or challenged by staff.

Jordan's Dad Paul's hairline kept taking my attention - seeing a line running round the back of his head, and the sparse hair, made me think he had had a hair transplant!! For a 'good' baddie I liked that he took his horrible son Jordan to task for his behaviour!

Really enjoyed this mini series. The acting was excellent. Was left wondering how Simon could leave the police station as if all had been sorted. Was his apparent explanation enough? Had Paul intervened on his behalf!!! They were all allowed to sell the house and pack up with no sign of appearing in court. However, I was happy with the ending implausible or not.

I really enjoyed this but was puzzled at the ending. Wasn't Simon in trouble with the police? As you said above, Lovetopaint.

What happened to the elderly neighbour? Did he get punished for stabbing Jordan, or did Jordan let him off also?

Good acting from David Bradley.

I can see potential for another series, focusing on the relationship between Simon and Paul. Paul was a fascinating character.

Oh No! I don’t think my nerves could take it. Paul scared the bejeebers out of me. 😱

I agree he was terrifying, but charismatic, & I thought there was a lot of humour in his character too. And he wasn’t without a sense of justice

I thought he was rather gorgeous 😍

I havent watched it all yet, but I knew him from somewhere.

Jonas Armstrong played Robin Hood on BBC1.

Wasn’t he also in the first series of ‘The Bay’?

The female detective had sex with him against a pub wall after they got drunk together, then next day his family was part of her next investigation?

(Haven’t checked this out, I might be mixing him up with another programme!)

I think you might be right.

He is my latest crush. ❤️ Half Irish and very handsome.

It just seemed implausible to me, lie after lie, with no need, so after watching episode one, that’s enough.

Have to say I love Jason Watkins but this was indeed implausible and a bit rubbish and sad to say after the first episode I've boycotted it and gone back to finishing the book I'm reading.
As for Love Rat, that was just shockingly cheesy with dreadful acting sadly

Excellent TV. Jordan was absolutely terrified of his father.
No wonder he was a bad boy. No child should be terrified of a parent. A really nasty man. Not a great role model. Disappointing ending.

I watched it all but my husband gave up after 10 minutes. I like Jason Watkins a lot. Maybe I won't bother with Love Rat after the negative comments.

I thought there were a few loose ends like how they all got away without being locked up.
I found Paul very scary but he had a soft centre.
By the way I thoroughly enjoyed 'Love Rat'
