I love Ireland Skullduggery
I feel at home there.
♥️

Astrid:Murder in Paris on All4 is brilliant (assuming you either speak French or are ok with subtitles). Really enjoying the budding friendship between the two leading women.

Also enjoying The Blacklist on Prime.

Bodkin on Netflix is a bit cringy with the exaggerated cod Irish but the scenery is absolutely stunning. Although I’m biased as I used to live in the village where it was filmed and recognise many of the extras and I’m only a few miles further down the coast now. 😁

I have just finished watching the murder/thriller ‘Click Bait ‘ on Netflix. I watched it over several nights and I was gripped. I thought I had it sussed but a real twist at the end.

Without a doubt, the best series on TV is Red Eye

We binge watched A Man in Full on Netflix last night with Jeff Daniels. Only 6 episodes but good.
We have watched many old series as I hate the plethora of game shows we are bombarded with.
Law and Order SVU on Netflix, Clocking Off and currently going through Judge John Deed. We also watched every episode of Silent Witness. There is always something you may have missed watching things the second time round.

Thanks. I'm very happy with subtitles*Witzend*!

Some I've mentioned above have them too. I enjoyed Money Heist for example which had subtitles and I'd recommend.

If you don’t mind subtitles, we thought the French police series Spiral (Engrenages) was superb. IIRC not much of it was on iplayer, so I bought the box set for dh a couple of Christmases ago and we binge-watched the lot!

Commonground

I started watching The Gathering, yesterday evening. After about 20 minutes I was tempted to give up, as I was struggling with the Liverpool accents. I persevered and was totally hooked. I watched the whole series and thought it was brilliant. It was the best thing I've watched since Happy Valley.

It started very slowly yesterday, but at least I now know who was drowned. I will continue with the rest.

It's on Channel 4 and All 4

I actually don't mind blood and grit to be honest!

Yes, the Lincoln Lawyer was good and the Night Agent too if anyone else is looking!

Without any subscriptions so all free (that's me!) I'm thoroughly enjoying:
All Saints (Amazon Freevee) - Australian hospital
Blue Heelers (Amazon Freevee) - Australian Police
London's Burning (UKTV Play) - classic British drama!
Mad Men (UKTV Play) - 1960s America, brilliant!

Thank you again everyone.
I've watched and enjoyed lots on Walter Presents - and the scandi ones too.

Will look out some of these.

Astitchintime

I recently watched Clocking Off on BBCiPlayer following advice by a GNetter - thoroughly enjoyed the down to earth characters and storylines.

Hi that was me! Clocking Off was amazing, so different from what goes out now. I'm sick of Police, murder, serial killers, violence and gore. This was about real people with great storylines and we saw all the A List actors of today in their earlier roles. There are lots of episodes on BBC iPlayer.

Disney +... Star. "Death and other details" Bonkers but I enjoyed it.
