Will be interested to see what the programme has to say about Temu. I know there have been threads about this company before. Like many others, I have been bombarded with their adverts, mainly while playing word games on my phone. The products sometimes look tempting, but there are so many bad reviews about them, I would not waste my money.

Hopefully it will highlight what this awful company are really doing. I understand they often sell at a loss in the hope of knocking out Western competition. Plus I never feel confident that they’re not using slave labour.

Dreadful and people don’t care the conditions people are working in

I have never ordered from Temu and never will - Thrift+ is my goto for cheap clothes.

Temu has always seemed shady to me - high heels for 78p?
No way they are made in a sustainable and responsible manner.

Temu doesn’t physically manufacture anything itself it is a marketplace

I did see a precis of the programme earlier and there was much concern surrounding the level of lead in jewellery and some children’s items.

Haven’t purchased anything from them and no intention of doing so.

I’ve never heard of them

I was having coffee last year with another GN member wearing a beautiful cardigan that she bought from Temu.

I bought a jumper and a cardigan and they are beautifully made. I have looked at M&S's clothes and they are made in countries where slave labour is rife and they appear to get clothes a lot cheaper from those countries as they keep changing.

Any cheap shops will source their stock from the same manufacturers as TEMU uses. B&M, Homebargains,Poundland etc sell for similar prices with identical items.
