Another new Corrie thread

I heard Bethany say something along the lines of she would pay Gail back for the loan she had taken out.

Gail sold the house from under them, I think. there was talk of this amongst the (naturally concerned) family who all live there, but I don't remember seeing it happen.

Presumably that will free up some money for Gail to go to Thailand with Jessie, and give us some storylines when the rest of the Platts are dealing with the consequences. I wonder who has bought it (or will buy it).

I thought it was David's house anyway?

No one has bought the house yet, I think. If so, it would have been an overnight quickie sale.

Gail has taken out a bridging loan to tide things over until it does sell.

Yes, David did own the house at one stage. Was Gail able to buy it back after her long lost dad died and she inherited some money from him?

I confess to not having read all 33 back pages, but I still have a trivial query -
What have they done with Bethany's boobs to make them stick up in such an unnatural way when she's lying on her back? Surely even a young slim girl with pert breasts never looks like that!

She's had cosmetic surgery, which is responsible for her needing to lie on her back. IRL she is pregnant, which may explain it too, or maybe the actress has had surgery.

Not just her boobs,

Her eyes look ready to pop out of her head.

I know she’s very ill and traumatised, but the huge, staring eyes are weird!

He wasn't operating on her bust. It rises and falls with her 'breathing' in a very strange way.
I think its hilarious, they're trying to make her look dramatically glamorous with her huge vulnerable eyes, pert bust and attractively untidy hair.

She has always seemed very unreal to me I was hoping she was going not my favourite character at all She can take Sarah with her too although Sarah is very pretty but annoying

As for the quads, no idea how they get to school, with Gemma duveted up on the sofa and Chesney working triple shifts at the kebab shop. Bernie at the caff. Who is doing the washing, shopping, cooking, house cleaning…..

Hello, Coronation St will be available from next Monday on ITVX and new episodes will be available to stream from 7am every morning. This brings the soap into a more modern and flexible era like Eastenders.

To me, Gail and Jesse just doesn’t sit right.

What a shame that all the business with Martin Platt went wrong, whatever it was.

That would have been a much happier, more realistic conclusion to Gail’s life on the Street.

I’m finding the Gail and Jesse scenario rather irritating. It’s painfully obvious he’s been shoehorned in when Martin’s return didn’t work out. Surely they could have come up with a more believable way for Gail to make her exit .

They could have done a double retirement and sent her off into the sunset with Ken 😊

I wonder if Cassie will be able to resist the temptation to fleece Ken.

Och Jesse seems a nice friendly type and the blooming romance seems OK. Let's face it, Gail's made far worse choices in the past!
