Just a thought, when did the Corrie nickname become commonly used? I can remember journalists using the Street name in the early and mid nineries, but the current nickname must date frtm later on.

Characters do come and go in Corrie, don’t they? DH was asking this week if Bobby had left and I said he had, then up he pops again like a bad penny. I could have sworn he left Carla’s flat weeks ago with a mournful expression and a promise to keep in touch.

And yes, I felt as if I’d missed an episode this week, what with Stu suddenly leaving and Hope so ill she had a home visit (though as we all know Dr Gaddas lives in the surgery just waiting to pop out to sort any minor ailment at a moment’s notice). I even checked back when I was halfway through the last episode to make sure that there hadn’t been an extra one.

I’m puzzled now as to why DS Swain is putting up with so many snide remarks and insubordination from DC Kit. It wouldn’t happen.

I can’t see Bobby as the killer either.

Is Max still with the black girl? It’s been so long since we saw her I can’t remember her name! What happened to her brother? The ex-cellmate from the YOI? Max and Lauren are going to get together I’m sure. They will squeeze into the Platt house somehow, and raise Frankie amongst the other waifs and strays😀. Is there still a body in the garden? Shona’s ex?

Oh, and where is Max’s GF in all this?

I don’t think Bobby will have killed Joel.

With his disability, I just don’t see how he would manage it, Joel was young and fit, apart from being blind drunk at the end.

Neither will it be Ronnie, Ed, Dee Dee, Lauren, Swain, Betsy, Mason….

Did he kill Joel to protect Lauren and get in her good books he’s been ‘after her’ since day one
I think all the others on the scene, who people are wondering about Ronnie, Ed, Swain, Kit are all too obvious

Yes, Lauren and the baby were supposed to be going to some foster place together. It was never suggested that they would be separated. (At least I don’t remember that).

Not sure why she seems so worried how she will cope if that is the case, she would have support, help and advice from leaving hospital. But of course Lauren, with no home, money or experience will want to go it alone, with help from Max and Bobby, no doubt.

Though what real help they will be is anyone’s guess.

Is Bobby still at the factory? He hasn’t been seen for weeks (thank goodness) but sounds like he is still an unwelcome lodger at Carla’s.

No, the baby is going to be fostered when he's able to leave the hospital. Lauren was deemed incapable of looking after him.

I don't think we know yet who will take him - maybe Wendy Flamin' Crozier?

For some reason, I thought the nurse talking to Lauren mentioned foster care, did I mishear that?

How on earth do Gemma and Chesney think they can pay for a skiing trip for Joseph? Why don’t they ask the other grandma who pays the fees, as she is keen to help with costs?

Where is Michael, we never see him nowadays? Is he still seeing Glenda, has she imprisoned him in George’s old house which she forced him to give her?

I wonder if Kit is Willow? His role in the police means he can keep on top of moves to catch the villains in the act, and as W is a GCI anyway, the dastardly leader of the Institute could be a man. Or is that too far left field for Corrie? Maybe not, these days.
