I'm hoping Kola and Mary Ellen will win.. she is such a lovely calm, unspoilt, intelligent woman.. and I loved how he found peace on a horse.. who wouldn't?

Fantastic scenery in South America - shame about the irritating celebs

I like the slightly overlooked Kola and Mary Ellen, they certainly seem to have a close cousin relationship in their mutual support of each other, Mary Ellen is such a trooper and a positive influence on Kola, particularly when he lost his passport, what a scary moment! before it was eventually recovered.
I was getting fed up with Sam, Scott Mills' husband's obsession with winning - such a moaner! There could be no enjoyment if they were totally fixated on the competitive element of the 'race'. So I was quite relieved when they came in second.

You've got to be cynical when they all arrived at the penultimate destination only 30 minutes apart. Conveniently leaving the final leg open for all of them to win the race.
The sun dancing on the horizon across the salt beds and beyond was an amazing sight.
Especially considering they seemed to travel by different routes to get there!
Some of this last episode seemed to be rather vague but perhaps I wasn't fully concentrating.

Yes, it's all a bit convenient that there's now very little time between all four pairs, but I'll still be watching the final next week.
I agree!

Yes I thought that. There seemed to be some disjointed editing, I’d have to watch again to pinpoint it.
I’ll also be watching the final. It’s all to play for.
I love the scenery, DH doesn’t do long haul and very hot countries any more, so I might have to find someone to go with.

Interesting, Kelly's comment about where she is at this stage of her life (44). And how she perceives her future.

Gosh, some posters are very cynical! I think the scenes from the train ride were unbelievably beautiful. Hope tourism rises in those countries visited.

Jeff and Freddy came last because it was set up. Did you notice how when they sat in those big armchairs talking, they missed the bus by literally only half an hour which cost them 8 or 9 hours wait? Then somewhere else they were delayed (on purpose?), and lost similar time. Seeing as the third place couple came in 10 hours behind the second I believe, Jeff and Freddy did not need to come last.
They do still have a good stash of money though. I hope they win.
I think I actually "got" Kelly's and Jeremy's relationship more last night. He looked quite upset listening to her early treatment by the press all those years ago. I think he loves her in a romantic way, though he does have a tendency to look a bit condescending.
Freddy makes me laugh. I can't say too much, but he was at the school I worked at in West Essex. He will go far, and his dad will support him all the way.

Never judge a book by it's cover Kelly Brooks is a nice woman, my son use to do her garden for her a couple times a year the hard stuff bushes trees that sort if thing. The nicest person you could meet and as for her husband he apparently verbally abuses her about her weight so yes a very nice man! And when she modelled Katie Price would buĺly her constantly so don't judge a book by its cover it's not nice or fair.
They seem an oddly mismatched couple to me, and it makes me uncomfortable watching her constantly appeasing him..
I'm so envious(in a good way) of those of you who have been to South America. Brazil looks amazing!
Yes it was a wonderful experience MissInterpreted, I feel blessed to have seen what is a wonder of the natural world. I love South America so this series has been a reminder of some of the memorable places visited

Loved last night's where Kelly and Jeremy found themselves at the Iguazu Falls. That's where I spent my 60th birthday, wonderful memories. Kelly said something along the lines of "this is the most amazing place I've ever been" that's exactly how I felt, they are breathtaking in their breadth where the borders of Argentina and Brazil converge. I remember Paraguay was a mere five miles away. The destination yesterday, Tigre, is not far from Buenos Aires. We spent a great day there.
How did Jeff and Freddy come last?
That must have been a wonderful experience - it looked absolutely amazing!

Kelly Holmes?
Kelly Brook please.
Kelly Holmes would outrun the opposition and always get there first!

No doubt you are right. But sadly the final cut is not really portraiting her that way, so far.
I worked with a lady who's DD lived next door to a well known Actress who was, and still is perceived as adorable and sweet. She's completely the opposite, on one occasion threw a chair out of a large closed window in a temper, my work mate was staying with her DD at the time and couldn't belive it or the screaming that accompanied it.
Apparently not the first time or the last.

Like must of these so called celebrity shows never know the celebrities 😂😂
The jobs are the most contrived part of the whole programme. They have no phones - don't speak the language- but manage to "arrange" these work placements in advance.
I would guess the so called employers are well rewarded because in all honesty, who would want an inexperienced stranger working for just a few hours? Presumably they have the necessary visas to work in these countries in the first place.
And the "we've got the last two seats" scenario - if that were the case how did it get filmed if there's a crew with them?
As with any reality programme you have to accept it's tongue in cheek reality. But there's a lot more to commend and enjoy in this one than most of the others, in my view.
Kelly Holmes?
Kelly Brook please.
Couldn't agree more. That Kelly Holmes is all mouth, so irritating!
