Nope, me neither. Couldn’t work out why they thought the girl would know anything at all.

Souse me BigBertha but Nottingham is not a northern area. Far from it though we in the north have similar desperate memories of the miners strike.

I thought it was grim and nasty (and that was just episode 1).

We got through it and wow powerful drama, but shell shocked when it ended.
I didn't see the ending coming with they young girl and her actions!
I'm looking farward to next weeks now. Don't think I can binge watch it, I would need counselling after.

We recorded this and watched it last night. Oh what another tale of northern misery. I know there is a reality to it and its a terrible thing but I really don't like going to bed miserable. It all plays on my mind. Not watching anymore.

I thought it was brilliant with superb acting from the whole cast. Yes , it's dark but excellent drama.

I watched the second episode last night. I was wondering how the sister who had been adopted had pointed out the family of the shooter. They were not at the ice rink when she was there meeting her brother. I thought I had missed a bit out but I know I did not. I will carry on watching it but will probably be still puzzled.

I was planning to watch episode 2 last night but decided I couldn’t face it. Too tired to struggle working out who’s who and I don’t much care for gritty crime dramas. I did want to spot the locations thiugh.

I have watched 2 episodes and still haven’t a clue what’s going on!

Have given up on it. Life's too short and there are better things to watch.

We watched part 2 last night and will watch further episodes.

Obviously, it is a dramatisation but there was a time, after the closure of the coalfields when Nottingham became quite lawless.

Watched the second episode which I thought was deeply unpleasant; not sure I shall watch any more.
Apparently based on the author's recollections of growing up in Nottinghamshire (?) following the closure of the mines but seems to centre on a series of revenge killings instigated by chilling matriarchs, for the 'family.'

Charleygirl I was the same didn’t watch the last one so went to start last night couldn’t understand it at all so went over and watched long lost families

We watched it as we did the first series, no sound problems, tonight’s episode should be good, we both enjoy a gritty drama.

I'm sticking to more light hearted and uplifting nowadays.

He had it on! I wish he would iron, but no.

I watched the first series as Mr MM had Iron and enjoyed it. Only saw snippets of last night's episode between putting out the washing, DH watching on catch up. I won't be wasting any more of my time on it.
I'm not really a fan of gritty crime drama.

I didn’t enjoy the first series, Mr C did and also enjoyed last night. Maybe he’s easily pleased .

I struggled to keep up with Sherwood last night as well. I will see what the next episode brings.

OH and I both very disappointed and agreed we didn't want to watch any more. I know my hearing is not as good as it was but I thought there was a lot of mumbling too

I did not see the last series so I did not have a clue who was who so I gave up after 20 minutes.

I will try Platform 7 tonight on ITV- I live in hope it is warchable.

I was expecting the whole of the series to be on iPlayer because I opted to watch in UHD …just have to wait for next Sunday like the old days! Nothing else was calling my name so I was glad of something new to watch.
