There have been mixed updates re whether Nick will dance tonight, but the latest seems to be that he definitely will. Suspect everyone else (perhaps not Paul ) will have upped their game so Nick may struggle to compete against them.
I was a bit shall I or not but thought I'd give it a go although didn't actually watch the very first one which wasn't really part of the show. I have to say though I'm totally hooked on the blind contestant Chris McCausland. He's amazing and I don't use the word lightly. How the heck can someone who is blind manage to do that and how does Dianna Buswell train/show/explain to him the dances. If you haven't watched it just try and see those two. I saw Vito on Masterchef and he was so full of life and so good. I like 'whathisname', Wynn of Go Compare pleasantly surprised. Glad Toyah went as I really didn't think her dancing was much good but if it had been a competition for enthusiasm she'd have won hands down. Yes I'm hooked again but really what's on the 'terrestrial' programmes I've started looking at catchup from years ago. Dr Who from the second run starting 2005 and Ashes to Ashes. :-)
I expect Nick will get a sympathy vote from the viewers. I agree that Paul should be the next to go. He's a fish out of water, though other sports people have managed to adapt, as Sam certainly has.
I agree Casdon. I think Paul’s football fans will keep him safe for another week. I was disappointed the judges saved him last night. Toyah wasn’t great but I think she danced better than Paul. She’s been working hard to improve whereas Paul seems to be there to act the clown.
I’m not banking on Paul going next, although he should. Maybe Pete and Jowita or if Nick’s not fit he will go and there will be no elimination, although results night would be a damp squib then?
I thought Toya was the better dancer. Paul clomped around like a cart horse. He will be packing his bags next week but I have no idea who will compete with him.
Paul probably should go, but footballers have a lot of fans, and he seems to be quite amusing, Toyah is better by a margin, but more irritating, so we’ll see.
I imagine the opera singer has worn quite a range of costumes in his career. He seemed much more comfortable as Mrs Doubtfire than some of the men would. Remember Dan Walker dying a hundred deaths in the lobster costume?
