Honestly, streaming has made a massive difference to my life.

Instead of scrolling through the Sky menu and finding nothing I really want to watch I can now scroll through hundreds and hundreds of films and TV programmes and it takes me so long to do so, without making a final decision, that eventually it's time to go to bed. gringrin

I now look forward to an evening of scrolling without ever actually watching anything - or watching something I've seen before. hmm

I don't think it's just me, apparently my daughter and her husband also enjoy scrolling evenings!

Me too. Once I've exhausted all the freesat channels, Disney+ and Prime video I end up watching YouTube videos. It's surprising what you can learn.
There is a lady on there with a channel I think is called Just vintage crochet. She makes a mystery pattern, some from as early as 1860s. Her son removes any pictures or words that would give it away. It's very relaxing.

The quality of films on Netflix, Prime and the others is appalling, trying to find one worth watching is very difficult, free to air channels are getting increasingly worse too

I do a lot of scrolling to unearth the gems that are lurking there. Elisabeth is Missing is one of those gems on amazon prime.
Another trick is to search for a particular actor or director to hone in on films you are more likely to enjoy.

Belonging, with Brenda Blethyl on Amazon Prime is a wonderful film.

Sorry, Brenda Blethyn, not Blethyl.

I don't have any streaming except BBC i player etc. I only watch the main channels and find there is more than enough for me there.

When I go to my DD's it annoys me that they only watch the streaming channels because they pay for them! It just mostly rubbish, I think.
