Just discovered a Northern Ireland version of Scotlands Home of the Year. Just called House of the year. This is the fourth series on BBC iplayer but the other series don’t seem to be available and I’ve never come across them before. Only downside is that it features Laurence Llewelyn Bowen who, as ever, tends to dominate the programme but I can cope with that if it gives me the chance to have a jolly good nose around other peoples houses!

Robert Kenyon, Reform's candidate for Makerfield. Would you let him in your house?

. I got used to Laurence after a bit! I always wonder if they give their shoes a good clean when they go round these houses! I preferred it to the Wales home of the year series but the Scottish series will always be my favourite. Probably because I binge watched it during lockdown and it became a sort of comfort blanket.
