Earlier in the year NanKate drew our attention to this incredibly brave Putin critic. Tonight at 7 pm on BBC 2 there is an interview with his widow Yulia which should be very interesting.

Thanks. I’ll watch that. There’s a very good interview with her on The Rest is Politics ‘Leading’ podcast that was done a year or so ago too.

I'm not sure I can bear to watch it. Thinking of that brave man makes me want to cry and sometimes to actually cry. I'm not as brave as him.

I think that his wife is under scrutiny by the Russian government, now.

I believe she is saying she wants to stand for President, which I think will be signing her own death warrant.
She needs to stay alive to keep her husband's memory alive, and she needs to stay safe.
