Yes, Corrie Again!

I thought she looked pretty good for her age. Poor Audrey's looking every year of her age though. Fair enough. She's well over 80.

Helen Worth seems to have aged rapidly- is she ill? She really seemed like an old lady last night. I’ve never liked her character - she was annoying as a teenager, a young mum, the victim of all the horrible husbands and as the MIL from Hell - but it’s always sad when such a long-standing character bows out.

It was all there!

Wedding, fights, ‘accidents’, ambulances, proposals, ghosts, tears, fall outs, making ups, and a positive pregnancy test ‘who’s the father?’ to finish on.

Rather a jumble of events.

But of course, a Christmas Day episode.

I loved David's speech

I did not expect that ending- I thought she would have an accident and die in the hospital.

I completely understand Audrey's reaction. How many times has Gail married so disastrously?! This is the first one that will take her away from home and the groom has already been up to tricks. I'd be pretty distraught if I was Audrey.

That ending was hilarious! Bet the Richard Hillman actor enjoyed that moment!

And Audrey is so selfish.

She talks as though the south of France is the other side of the world. She doesn’t have to visit them, they can pop over to see her.

Try having family in Oz or New Zealand, Audrey.

Max’ filming was funny - I loved Roy’s contribution!

David’s quips were good, as usual.

“You’ll need a fork lift truck for the wedding albums”.

I think the episode was better because we heard nothing about Lauren, thank goodness.

And Max was just doing his filming, instead of acting as judge, jury and KC for Lauren.

I thought there were quite a few laughs in the Christmas Eve episode. Sally was good value. I wish Gail would just leave and take a few others with her. The ending was hilarious. I’m guessing it was a ghost of Christmas past for Gail.

What were the writers thinking of having Richard Hillman trailing water weed and dripping all over the carpet? The stupidest ending to an episode I have seen on Corrie and there's a long list!

max looks about twelve but here he is trying to sort out lauren and baby.

I am about two weeks behind with programmes, but I agree.
It was almost wall to wall criminality.
Not fun.

There doesn't seem to be any fun in Corrie any more. Perhaps tonight we'll be surprised and the scriptwriters might actually have us fall off our chairs with laughing too much. I doubt it, though.

Funny posts! does anyone remember when Tracy was asked why she had slept with Steve, 'Is it because he is local???!!!' Unfortunately there is no one local to me!!!!!
