It's amazing that Toyah and Leeanne have never had anything to do with Chesney and Gemma throughout their many storylines.

Was Les still with Chesney’s mum because she would have snatched the money.

In real life Chesney would snap up that money like a shot. It could transform their lives.

I know Betsy has her problems but I find her a thoroughly unpleasant character and want to fast forward her scenes . I wonder if she has the same acting coach as Mason. Their speech and mannerisms are so similar. I’m hoping they might run away together😆

I just think the relationship between Carla and Lisa is ridiculous.

Carla has been the Street’s maneater for years.

It all seems so fake.

There is no chemistry between them at all, and mardy little Betsy will not help the relationship.

I was surprised at DeeDee’s pregnancy. I have no recollection of them breaking her no premarital sex rule. I remember Joel saying how much he respected her wishes etc. But I don’t remember that changing. Maybe I missed an episode. Or may maybe my memory is even worse that I realise.

I would not have recognised Gemma with that hairstyle and colour.

There will be another court case to decide who should look after Frankie, so the hospital bed and the courts will be busy. I will not disclose the spoiler regarding the bed.

I do remember DeeDee suddenly mentioning religion and being amazed at the time. She never seems to go to church nor does any of her family. Good heavens it's surely not the writers desperately trying to make an abortion story more interesting! Note irony alert.

It took awhile to recognise Gemma. I don’t know how she managed to acquire her new hair and new colour as they are supposed to be skint.

Deedee was always religious which was why she didn’t sleep with Joel (well not for a long time) Avaline

I seem to remember DeeDee’s religious beliefs being mentioned while she and Joel were “courting”. He didn’t sleep with her when he stayed overnight and she was saving herself for the wedding night. Obviously it didn’t entirely go to plan and he’s left her with a little surprise.

it's a very sad storyline for baby Frankie....

you see, back in 1960 my sister's baby died at three months old with acute Leukemia...she came out in small black bruises... a dreadful time for us.

Blimey. Cannot imagine Gail with a new haircut. My husband always laughs when she comes on and says he has never seen a woman with hair like hers.

I think it will be Gail's permanent departure-whether she gets married, or has an accident and dies in hospital.
