Can’t believe how quickly a funeral can be arranged in soapland.
When did Les die? About a week ago?
Round here, you would still be waiting to get an appointment for the death certificate to be issued, let alone the funeral organised, funeral programme printed.
She went off to stay with some girlfriend didn’t she, at the seaside?
I know she is grieving for Paul, but think she could do with being at her husband’s side, looking after the quads and doing her bit in that chaotic household.
I think Mason’s brothers look like a couple of corny pantomime villains.
I love this comment! I had been trying to work out what those ugly blokes remind me of and you have nailed it! They have the acting ability of a dead hedgehog. How do these people get hired as actors when they can barely string a sentence together, let alone act?
I thought he died in an industrial accident. I hope the beneficiaries don't accept the first offer. My solicitor told me never to accept a first offer!
I thought Les had died from a medical condition, and that the accident had taken place previously. Given the character, it's hard to see that £50,000 would have lasted for five minutes in his possession - however, this is soapland...it will help bale out poor old Ches with his endless bills and too many jobs. Where is Gemma? I've lost track - and yes, two senior Bistro staff going on holiday just before Christmas is ludicrous - do they think Leanne won't smell a rat?
My friend was a legal Secretary her whole adult life. About 10 years ago she said she did their 2nd only Will reading in all that time! The first was when she started work aged 16 so that would have been in the 1960s. They are very rare indeed.
Is he a wrong 'un or just misunderstood? He's not very likeable though. I had a Corrie dream last night and now I don't know what's true or false. It was nice to 'see' the Victorian baths at the end of Viaduct Street though!
Agree about two staff on holiday just before Christmas.
Are Nick and Toyah just going to pretend to have separate holidays?
Yes, I couldn’t remember a Greg.
How many people actually meet up in a solicitor’s office for a will reading? I’ve never been asked to one, even if I’ve been left something.
And writing Les’s eulogy. He only died a few days ago. Surely there’ll need to be enquiries if he died in an accident, so a funeral won’t be happening very quickly.
It’s a shame Daisy is half Kit’s height, they look daft together.
He is very nice looking though, and has a lovely smile.
