Is anyone watching this? I’ve switched on now and then as like the camp chats. There is one guy in, never heard of him, however don't know most of them, who seems of very fragile mental health.

Louella12 Thu 28-Nov-24 23:51:28

I worry with this vote to save. It's much better to vote to evict

People get confused.

I'm hoping Dean will go, if not him, Jane.

My votes went to GK

petal53 Thu 28-Nov-24 23:48:23

I don’t think he’ll be evicted first because he’s entertaining.
I hope Jane goes first.
I really like G K Barry.

DanniRae Thu 28-Nov-24 14:13:24

I really don't like him .... I hope he gets evicted first angry

Aveline Thu 28-Nov-24 12:43:26

Of course it's all in the editing. There could well be pretty negative bits they could show including any of the others. They choose the most extreme clips to show or to shape opinions likely to vote for or against people.
I agree he seems a silly little boy.

Anniebach Thu 28-Nov-24 11:59:48

I agree raficbagran

rafichagran Thu 28-Nov-24 11:26:41

I really dislike Dean, be is lazy and entitled, he has a excuse for everything, and he is for the most part lousy at the tasks.
He comes across as a obnoxious man.

Grannynannywanny Thu 28-Nov-24 09:12:13

I agree with everything you said sassenach512. Dean is not a team player and has shown himself to be entitled and lazy. I suspect the others are avoiding confrontation with him in case it shows them in a bad light. He comes across as someone who has grown from a spoiled child into a spoiled man child.

monk08 Thu 28-Nov-24 09:04:59

Your right sassenach512 if anybody has a real go at Dean for his laziness they will be accused of bullying so better not to say what they think.

sassenach512 Thu 28-Nov-24 08:43:29

It doesn't matter which chore Dean is given, he weasels his way out of doing his fair share of the work.
Melvin is right to call him Houdini, disappearing instead of sharing the water carrying and when he did finally go, he chose the smallest pot and complained how heavy it was. He did the same to Jane, carrying a paltry three logs of wood while she carried a sack full. I'd have given the little twerp a good dressing down but I suppose none of them want to really say what they think

Spot on petal53. I know shared card can be the best option for some children, but it needs both parents to be entirely focussed on the children and behaving like grown ups. I’m not convinced it’s ok as the norm.

escaped Thu 28-Nov-24 08:23:14

Coleen's face when someone said Wayne must have had to "grow up" early! GK Barry is becoming my favourite.

Bridie22 Thu 28-Nov-24 07:29:04

I find Dean funny at times , but he is very lazy and just was unfair not helping Melvin with the chores.
Colleen seems a strong lady, a good mix of personalities this year...some very loud screamers !!

Galaxy, another important point. My adult children are heading for 40 and a number of couples in their friendship group have separated. 50-50 care is seen as the norm. It enables many fathers to avoid any maintenance despite the fact the mothers went part time etc to become prime carer.
One of these fathers was largely absent till he abandoned his children and their mum, for a younger model. He’s now 50-50

Yes, yes, yes.
Men use this to prevent having to pay their ex wife and often to continue to control her.

petal53 Thu 28-Nov-24 00:04:39

If you divorce and the father is a vaguely functioning human being you will not see your children for 50% of the time…..

Oh how true those words are.
The father only appears to need to be able to breathe and he’s awarded shared care.

Anyway, back to I’m a Celebrity………I like Dean, with all his imperfections, I just like him.
I like Reverend Richard too, and Oti, and GK Barry.
I don’t like Jane.

DeeDe Wed 27-Nov-24 23:35:21

Liking it this year, but my least favourite is Jane. I'd really like to see her evicted first.
She’s so sour 🙄 imagine she can be very nasty too.

So why not have Wayne Rooney on the programme then? Oh wait, he doesn't need the publicity!
Re the 'sisterhood'- I like Jane and GK and Maura I just don't subscribe to the 'Colleen is great' mantra.

Wayne has saud he'd love to go on but hasnt been asked. No doubt he'll be there if he can get time off from the day job.

I think Wayne might want to catch the next flight out.
Plymouth Argyle lost 6 - 1 last night. 🙊

Oh no!

BIL will be upset!

Oh dear, I just told DH 😯

If you divorce and the father is a vaguely functioning human being you will not see your children for 50% of the time, I know lots of women who would do all sorts of things to avoid that situation.

I agree with you Galaxy. It’s also worth acknowledging CR could have done very well out of a divorce settlement. She was asked about this on the Wagatha documentary. She seemed genuine when she talked about having considered divorce but said in the end, there’s love between them and the children.
Her upbringing was apparently with stable, loving parents and that’s what she wants for her children

The series is not for me - It should not be in the main channels but pushed to ITV2 or similar.

Why? Its a very popular programne. I know some people don't like it, so don't watch need to watch. Let the rest if us enjoy it.

Galaxy Wed 27-Nov-24 18:24:50

I try not to judge women who stay with men who commit adultery, it is more likely to be for the children than the money.

Mojack26 Wed 27-Nov-24 18:20:21

Never watched it, not remotelyinterested! Not my type of programme

I reckon Maura could win although I'd prefer Richard.
Can't get over how huge Oti has become. Hard to believe she was a lithe dancer.

Wow. Wow. Wow.
